iKon Razors OG1 Safety Razor Bulldog Handle

It is an amazingly superb quality and workmanship product. The price of this handle perfectly fits into that quality product which is made from highly polished 316L marine grade stainless steel. Standard screw-threads of this stainless steel handle will have much longer life in comparison to aluminum or plated chrome brass handles. Those threads of this handle fit well into traditional classic three-piece Merkur, Edwin Jagger, Muhle, Utopia, Silver Tone and many other razor's heads. The size of the handle is helping easier to maneuver during shaving procedure. I did not find any even minor imperfections on that handle. All screw-threads inside the handle were clean and free from any heavy oil dirt or any metallic shaving debris. It has a deepest firm grip for better holding in our hands. Service worked perfectly too - handle was well packed for shipping and delivered in scheduled time.

Considering the price and reviews I expected perfection. Mine was nearly perfect but had a stout and sharp burr on the threaded end. I could see that this would damage the razor head going on and off even just once. Luckily I had a bench polisher and was able to get rid of the sharp burr in about 5 minutes. It's now a 5 star item. It's nice and heavy and stout, grippy, and beautiful. This is a high quality item (mine just had a minor defect that cost a star on the rating scale)

I have this and the Weber Bulldog, and I think they are on par with each other. Both have nice knurling, and feel good in the hand. They both fit the majority of my razors, and they are both nicely balanced. Both are machined and polished professionally, and appear to be of high quality. Would I pick one over the other? Nah, buy both. The shipping was fast, and I would not hesitate to buy from this seller again.

I just love the nice heavy feel and balance this gives my Merkur DE razor. The knurled texture helps insure a non-slip grip too. This is a very beautifully machined piece of stainless steel and I would recommend it to anyone that wants to upgrade their three-piece DE razor.

I can't tell the difference between this handle and a Weber bulldog handle. I have both and they are identical. The Ikon is $4 and $4.49 shipping cheaper. The Ikon handle is sturdy and well made. If you want a 3 and 1/8th inch heavy handle this is it.

Only improvement would be made here in the U.S. I could not detect any flaws in the workmanship or material. This is the 80mm length but the newer model is 85mm long. Should thread right on to any vintage Gillette head or modern DE razor.

My Muhle R41 razor is outstanding - but the handle might slip out of your hands while shaving. The Bulldog handle offers excellent heft...and it's just about impossible for the razor to slip from your hand.

This was a great upgrade from my former handle. Very easy to grip and is heavy enough to provide better balance to the entire razor.
