Hisense H50AE6100UK 50-Inch 4K Ultra HD HDR Smart TV with Freeview Play - Black (2018), Operating System VIDAA [Energy Class A]

I recieved the TV on Thursday , was a bit worried due to the negative feedback that started to appear from another buyers.I upgraded from a 49" Lg full hd tv and the difference is amazing.The TV I recieved have no light bleeding which was my main worry.It was very easy to set up , the smart features are good but not comparable to Lg WebOs which is faster and easier to use.The smart features ok Hisense TV are all anyone would need Netflix , YouTube , Amazon video etc is all preinstalled , the only thing is that it is noticeable slower than Lg when navigating through the app it is not as smooth and can notice slowdowns.The picture quality out of the box is stunning , standard 4k content looks sharp the colours are accurate and black levels are very decent.When watching full hd content it also looks much better on this TV due to upscaling , I have standard PS4 and it never looked as good as it looks now on this TV the ps4 outputs only 1080p signal but it is upscaled to 4k and looks much more detailed and sharp.HDR is not so great due to the low level of brignthes on this TV compared to more expensive units that are her enabled.I honestly don't have much her content my ps4 can enable hdr but I much more prefere the picture quality in standard mode.Overall I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend getting this TV for the price I paid It can't get any better .

Easy set up for all the online content, decent interface and search functions. Satellite connection wizard worked well. Picture is good quality. TV/RF tuner not used so can't comment. Plenty of inputs for other devices. Pausing and playing of live tv works well but you need to add your own memory device and use up one of the USB's. Screen easily copes with PS4 graphics. Sound quality good but as always external devices do improve it.

I was slightly hesitant on buying this one due to not knowing the name.On reading over many reveiws i found myself returning to this item due to the price point and the high praise comments from owners.I wasn't to be disapointed, and its a Monster tv!Build quaility is great, the screens a fantastic size with the Ultra HD HDR qualities. Pictures awesome with great clarity and i found the system very easy to navigate and set up the tv to how i wanted it.Perfect for Netflix binges, watching Youtube, and i've had the Playstation4 hooked up to it and the picture qualities beautiful.I would also say for those of you without a separate sound system/sound bar, that the built in speakers on this tv are pretty good! i was happily suprised and for the average person the sound, with a little tweeking in the systems for you own preferences, will be absolutely fine.A good buy and I'm very happy with the purchase.

have this TV 4 days now, bought to upgrade my 12 year old 42inch plasma, so thats what im comparing to in this review, I was a bit apprehensive due to the low price and brand name but i am not disappointed, picture quality is fantastic and sound is also very good, netflix, amazon video and youtube apps on the tv work seamlessly, there are plenty of other apps on the tv that i havent looked at, i think most of these will be region specific so probably wont work in my country (bbc iplayer, ITV player etc), TV does feel quite plasticy, maybe thats a feature of all newer LED TV's, its also very light.fantastic tv for the price and im not disapointed.

Bought it almost 3 months ago and so far very happy with it. The picture is very clear. Brilliant in 4k. As per other reviews it handles low resolution videos pretty good as well, almost making them look better than they really are. The only issue is Amazon Prime, which works intermittently to say the least, but this is ongoing issue with many other models due to the fact that the streaming suppliers change their software and not necessarily make it open source for TV producers, hence the build in software you get will age with time and might stop being compatible with the streaming service software. That being said Amazon apparently is worst in getting their software compatible with TVs. YouTube might also give you some troubles but rarely compared to Amazon Prime. Needless to say Apple TV / Amazon TV stick or Google Chromecast will rid such issues for you. Overall this is not entirely the TV's fault, hence so far 5 stars. Time will tell.

Love the TV, picture is great but network connectivity and apps are very unreliable. Was a great price but am a bit disappointed to have to use my fire stick with a smart TV.

Was gutted when I opened this, only to find it had cracks at the bottom of the screen and a wide black band showing all the way up the screen, where nothing was visible. Given the comments I've read elsewhere about how some other sellers make returning faulty products very stressful & difficult, I was very fearful. However, I have to say that the vendor has been absolutely brilliant, arranging for collection of the damaged tv from my home, replying to my e-mails promptly, politely & very helpfully - & arranging for a replacement to be with me in a reasonable turnaround time & which works fine.I guess accidents will occasionally happen in transit & all you can hope for is that the seller will 'step-up' & be as helpful & good as these people. Well done & thanks. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again and they have my loyalty / trust assured for the future!PS TV is good quality & great value.
