What is the best Wireless router for streaming? AC 1750 dual band.

It depends. If the site does not have many 2.4GHz wireless routers/access points around and the devices you are streaming are within 30 ft of the router with nothing blocking, then you can probably just use a 2.4GHz N300 router. You can use a free Windwos software caller "inSSIDer" to check. If you have Andriod phone, try the "wifi analyzer". Basically, just avoid the channels your neighbors are using and use a channel that is as far away from theirs as possible. for 2.4GHz, use channel 1, 6 or 11, but if your neighbors are already using those, use the channel with the lowest signal strength from them. Now, if the 2.4GHz is pretty busy at the site, then you can consider 5GHz 11a or the new 11AC, because they have more non-interference channels. Make sure that you have a 5GHz wireless adapter and use the wifi analyzer that can scan 5GHz band to see what is around the site and then pick a free channel. Also, for the best result, put the router in open space and above the ground (if possible). I have seen too many people hiding routers inside cabnet/closet and complaining about poor range. My FIOS is currently fed through a coax cable to an Actiontec router supplied by Verizon. This unit doesn't have a coax feed. How do I connect?

Verizon FIOs internet services can be provided either via the coax or a standard Ethernet connection. You have to specify you want your internet access on Ethernet before they install it to have the cost included in the setup. You should be able to have it switched over but they may charge you for that. I have FIOs and have both coax for the cable boxes and Ethernet for my computers active. you could put this behind the actiontech router simply by connecting one of the 4 LAN ports on the Actiontec to the WAN port on the Trendnet but then you will have a double-nat setup just make sure the LAN ip addresses setup for the Actiontec are different then the ones you select for the Trendnet one.

Do I need any additional equipment between my PC and the ISP (Windstrem) DSL wall socket connection in my home?

i believe you will need a modem. The Trend-net device is a wireless router and is not a stand alone device. The normal sequence is 1) ISP line into house. 2) A compatible modem for your IPS provider. 3) A wireless or wired router. 4) Your internet device (laptop, ipad, desktop, ect.).

Any problems using Apple products with this router?

Our household has 7 People and the following devices: 4 apple laptops, 2 I-pads, 3 Intel/windows based NetBooks, 4 Intel based computers and a few I-phones and none of us have had issue's using this router. And the newer tablets are supposed to automatically connect using the 5GHZ band, which none of us have newer products that use this band....yet.Hope this helps.
