Gear 4 Oxford Folio Designed for iPhone XS Max Case, Advanced Impact Protection by D3O, Booklet Case - Black

Best case I’ve ever had! Looks sleek classic and strong, my last case was an otterbox and this feels so much more sturdy and sexy than that. I have D30 armour in my motorbike trousers and it saved my knee from being broken in a recent crash so I feel very pleased to have similar protection for my mobile now. The click of the buttons is satisfying and the texture of the back is reassuringly grippy. It has a professional look to it that I really like too.

I bought a very nice Piel Frama case for when I’m out socialising and this Gear4 case for when I’m doing jobs in and around the home and am likely to drop the phone. The Gear4 case is great for all round protection, looks good and the clasp on the side to keep the case closed is really effective, easy to open and close (unlike another review which stated that it was awkward to open).I swap the cases over each day and the phone is easily taken out and returned each time. I’m really happy with the product and would certainly recommend it.

The catch is large and difficult to close and even more difficult to open, unless you have long fingernails maybe to prize it open. Its pretty unpleasant to use, I would expect better from a premium case. The lid doesn't fit particularly well either and forget putting credit cards in it, the lid just bends out leaving a huge gap for dirt etc to get to the phone. The rest of it is well made and fits well and looks pretty good but the silly catch and poor lid let it down.

This is a replacement case for my iPhone XS Max. The original (the same model) case lasted 30 months with constant wear in my jeans pocket.Excellent protection of my phone and I like that I can fold the case into a stand position to view the phone screen on a table or desk.A great case to shield your phone from knocks and drops.

This is the only case I have found that has a sturdy clip holding it closed. I often drop my phone and while most cases protect the edges they’re useless when the front flaps open and it lands on the screen. This case stops that.The clip even has two ridges for two tightness settings depending on how many cards/notes you have stored in the wallet. Very clever addition and much better than magnetic closures.

Don't be fooled by the low price tag. The case is on par with the likes of top brands such as UAG, speak and Mous.Holding the case , you will instantly find it super grippy at the sides. And the back with rubber lining , offers decent grip too. It definitely appears to be made of good quality components.I am positive that this will live up to my expectations!

Case cracked after a single drop from 30cm. Cery disappointed. Guess iphone is ok but given the fact that they advertise this as extra durable for drops it is a huge let down
