Don't.
Don't waste your money - buy a cup of coffee or something else instead, as though it's not consumable, it's disposable. Not only does it not work well (maybe 5% functional), it's 100% junk. If it weren't ridiculous to say 1,000% junk I would say that instead. Not going to spend more time on it - it's going in the trash, and the makers/sellers probably count on all buyers to not bother with returns. This should not be sold. Nay, this should not be manufactured.

Great for dog training
I first used one of these years ago when I had a pup who insisted on losing her furry little mind when walking on a leash. She'd grab the leash and then spaghetti-slurp her way up it all the way to the handle whereupon she would - totally accidentally, I'm sure - nip my hand. That got old really fast. Someone suggested I try a shock collar, but I would never do that to my dog. Then I thought about it and remembered these little "joy buzzers" as they used to be called. You wind them up and conceal them in the palm of your hand. When you shake hands with someone, they push the button in, it vibrates and makes a fairly loud zzzzz sound that startles them. Perfect!! So I walked with one in the palm of my hand and when my pup became possessed, I simply reached forward with that hand and touched it to her cheek right about at her canine tooth (so that it would resonate in her thick little skill) while exclaiming "No!!". She immediately stopped and looked totally stunned. I knew I wasn't hurting her, just startling her. It happened so quickly and I pulled my hand away so fast she didn't actually associate it with me. She didn't become shy of my touch or fearful of me in any way. But it only took a few times for her to associate this unpleasant surprise with her misbehavior and that was the end of it. In obedience class we started to refer to it as the "fuzzy buzzy". It worked like a charm for her. I have a pup now that is exhibiting some similar issues, so I just picked up this new one. This model doesn't seem quite as robust as the one I had originally, but I think it will do the trick. Just a note that if you have to use this more than a few times, it isn't working for you and you should move on. The point was to surprise her to get her to stop, like using a shaker can. I would never use it to gratuitously irritate a dog. That's what friends are for. :-)

GREAT PRODUCT
Believe it or not...we use this buzzer as a training aid for our dogs...they don't like the sound of it or the vibration on their bodies... Our Akita has a tendency to whine & wants to jump around when around other dogs...all we do is touch her with the buzzer and she calms down...just a perfect training aid!!
