ALZO 45W CFL Photo Light Bulb 5500K, 2800 Lumens, 120V

Just got this in the mail today. It didn't fit one of my small lamps properly, but I was able to remove the shade to get it in, and work around the issue. The light is instant-on with no detectable flicker, and the light is really clean and sunny! Unfortunately, it came with a very audible BUZZ. When you are trying to shoot video with clean sound in a studio, this is a serious issue. I'm keeping it as a backup, but I'll be looking elsewhere for my 45W CFLs in the future.

At my age, it is good to have a lot of light as it improves my ability to accurately read. These are VERY bright bulbs, and color-correct to natural sunlight. It makes my home office a pleasant place to do work.

This bulb produces great bright light for my garage. However it didn't last long. After one year and no more than 1 hour average daily usage, it is now pronounced dead. I thought this type of CFL light bulb would last at least 2-3 years but not this case.

I was so happy to buy these at first, It took me a while to actually use them after delivered because i was traveling at the time they arrived, couldnt send them back when i could, I wish i could get my money back, the first moment i powered them on became an inmediate dissapointment, first, its not 5,400K, its below that by far, second it gives a green spike that turns in to video post production nightmare, they are un reliable source of light for videographers (who are the main target market for these) the second dangerous matter is that they deliver a lot of UV, that can be harmful to the eyes.
