Khadi Paper from India- 6x8.25 Inch 140lb. Pack of 20 Sheets

This is really luscious paper...I use it for handmade journal pages, and it's wonderful. It gives a distinct luxurious effect to the journal signatures, and aside from adding a bit of "aged" coloration to the edges, I leave it alone...it's too lovely to cover with pictures, or even belly bands or pockets. A definite "must have from now on" item!

That I bought this product not that long ago and now it’s been scaled down to a six by eight I won’t be buying Kardi paper anymore. I forgot to mention I paid $22.25 and it’s much smaller than before. Why do keep getting ripped off. Enough of the bs.

nice texture ! very raw I just tried it when it arrived with my watercolours (see pict), seems to handle multiple wash pretty well for now. be carefull may not be apropriate for some work (not totally flat, can contain little blops)

This paper is beautiful. It's like watercolor paper but much richer. I made a handmade book with mine. It's very sturdy, both with sewing and with wet media. I was so entranced with it that I had to learn more about the process for making this paper. Khadi Papers' website has a lot of information about how they make the various papers they sell, and it is impressive. I have never had such a strong reaction to paper before, and it seems a little whacky, but that is how I felt when I opened the package. I couldn't stop running my hands over the paper and oohing and aahing over it.
