Product will chip over time and break down
I loved this pot at first. I loved it so much I have purchased 3. I loved the non-stick feature. This **was** my favorite pot to use of all times. However, all 3 of my pots eventually began to chip away over time - the non-stick coating would eventually chip on some part of the pot after frequent usage.Just to clarify: I always cooked on medium low heat in order to be extra careful. I only used silicone spoons to mix with. And I handwashed each pot w/ mild soap. All 3 still developed scratches, and eventually the non-stick surface began to just chip off. On my last pot, the handle actually started coming loose at the lower attachment to the pot! The handle became so loose I had to throw it away.I have had to come to the conclusion after several pots and several years of usage, these pots are just not made to last. No matter how well you care for these, they will break down and the non-stick coating will chip off.

Poor quality
After a year using this pan, the bottom of interior edge is all rusty, the manufacturing website said it is overheat, I just wonder who actually measure temperature for every day cooking? So I would say this product has quality issue. I have never experiencing cookware has such short life cycle of usage.

badly chipping after one year
I purchased this pot one year ago. It was a fast favorite but the coating is now coming off and it is scratched terribly. It has never gone into the dishwasher and yes we did use a metal spoon occassionally but it claims you can do this. Apparently not. So this is disposable cookware I guess. I gave two stars because I loved it until it started chipping.

and they look pretty similar to this pot overall
I already have a Circulon set that my wife bought at Costco, and they look pretty similar to this pot overall, but that set doesn't include a straining pot. This pot is pricey but if you want to strain your food right in the pot, you will really appreciate the large capacity, the nice quality of the side, the handle and the bottom plate, and the well-shaped rubberized grips that won't get your fingers burned. It is designed to satisfy the most demanding customers.

Nice cookware!
I have owned a set of circulon before and had no hesitation to purchase it again. It is sturdy. Easy to clean. Well made cookware. I have an induction cooktop and have used induction for several years. This cookware will work with induction. It will not show you what induction can do if you are new to it. It does not heat as quickly as good stainless steel for example but it does work and it's nice to have a few pieces that are non-stick. I also purchased the small 8.5 inch frying pan. Both quality pieces.

Not sure about this one
I previously bought the frying and sauté pans, they were good, no complaint. So I bought this 3.5 pot to replace my 3.5 Wearever pot that was about, if not more, than 20 years old! the finish was finally coming off so I couldn't get the grease totally out of it. I believe T-fab or some other company bought Wearever. I assumed this pot, based on the pans and the price, would be the same quality. It's not. It works, but is light, just don't have the same quality feeling I had with their other products or Wearever. It's a nice pot, but pretty expensive, don't think I would buy it again, it works! but I'm a bit disappointed.

Good replacement for my "use it for everything" pot
I was looking for a straining pot this size to replace an old RevereWare that I used for everything. This seems to be a good replacement, and I am happy to have found it. I think the nonstick will last longer, it is better quality. I do wish the lid were a little deeper on the rim and the pot's pour spouts were just a touch bigger. My old pot strained faster with more holes and slightly bigger pour spouts. Not a big deal, though, I am happy.

Questionable quality
The pot is well designed and fits in well with my other pots and pans. The lid has a nice weight and fits well but the pot handle is literally not solid and feels very cheaply made. I just received so can not speak to its durability or wear but I am disappointed with the flimsy handle for the price of this single pot w/lid

maybe not the best pots on gas range.
love the pots, just now think they are not the best on a gas range because of what is happening to mine.the coating peals off on the side of the pan when used on my gas stove. They were great, now using gas range and following directions for low flame and still the lower sides are getting small lines from the heat.
