Gaiam Rattan Meditation Chair

Yes! Absolutely a good investment for me. Not necessarily the most affordable chair, but definitely a comfortable, nicely made, and attractive piece of furniture. Great for alternate seating, and perfect for meditation. Also very light weight!

only problem was the price, and it's smaller than I thought. well made, lightweight and attractive. just too expensive for me.

MUCH smaller than I had anticipated. I'm a petite 5'1 and it's perfect for my small frame, but an actual "full-size" person would not fit on fit well on this chair. Also, quality doesn't quite justify the price tag. This chair should have been $120 MAX. Interesting design, though.

I purchased this chair based on the pictures and the other reviews. It was not comfortable at all--it did not fit my 5'3" height and 120 lbs frame. The cushions were uncomfortable as I could feel the rattan through the cushions. Furthermore, I thought the chair would be bigger based on the picture, but I could barely sit cross legged without my feet hanging over the edge. The company does not give a return postage so I had to pay $110.00 to return it! Pretty steep just for trying out a chair. This is my first and the last time I buy furniture online. Really think before you buy!

I thought the price for this product was a high. I bought another meditation chair from Qaiam and was much happier with the quality of it for the price.

This is a wonderfully comfortable chair. I use it for my meditation practice but have also used it to sit and watch some of my yoga instructional videos, etc. It is lightweight and I have moved it into another room easily when needed. It looks nice and although a little pricey well worth the money.

My daughter wanted this meditation chair for a while. I decided to surprise her and purchased it for her. She absolutely loves her Gaiam meditation chair. She has had it about a year and it still looks good and is functional.

Being a short person (under 5'3"), I thought from the photo that this meditation chair would fit just fine (ignoring an earlier review saying it seemed small). When I sit in it with my back up against the backing, my crossed knees go beyond the white cushion. It almost seems as if the size of the chair in the picture is about 20% larger than the actual chair. Maybe Gaiam could make a meditation chair larger to accommodate bigger bodies?
