It wasn't broken upon arrival.
This Imperial Group USA stove board seems to be a well made product for the money. The next option was several hundred dollars and since this is going in the sun room; I wanted something lighter weight than brick or stone masonry. FedEx delivered two of these, (different sizes) and both arrived in new condition.

Protection from fire
Although it protected the wood flooring underneath, it still caused scratches to appear on wood surface. The protection was quite good. I am thinking that soft cloth under stone would be best.

I love my Imperial Group USA Stove Board/Floor Protector!
This is a great fire/heat resistant floor protector/stove board, for my small, portable Kero World Kerosene Heater~ (heater made for heating 10,000 BTU or 420 sq. ft ). I highly recommend this stove board/floor protector. I purchased a size 28"x 32" stove board. It is the perfect size. I purchased the "wood grain" (color), because I have a lot of wood and wood tones in my living room. The "wood grain" color blends very well, with brownish tone carpets. I am very happy with my purchase. Thank you!

poor quality
This arrived today July 1,2023 and it has a crack from one side to the other and also has a nasty warp to it not sure I want this faulty item for my pellet stove pad ? A return is a really good possibility.

Made poorly
It works for what we wanted. When we received it the metal around all the edges and corners were not pushed down. A lot of sharp edges.

This board will be used under my heater. Wood color blends well with floor. Good quality board.
