Alright so I looked & looked at all the reviews before I bought trying to find instructions & panels that would fit my garage squares. I finally just bought these because they were the smallest I found. They don't fit my squares like in the description but they fit 3 across which still looks nice. I might cut them later to make the 4 square box pattern but for now here is what I did to make them even.I tried using a ruler or tape & just placing them but it never came out even. So I measured the garage square the best i could & cut a piece of paper down to the measurements. Then placed the 3 panels on the paper & measured them out evenly across it. I traced the panels then used a exacto knife to cut out the paper panels leavingthe side edges intact. The paper was flimsy so I laid blue tape over the paper & cut off the access. Now I had a template I could place on the garage square, level it & tape corners while I placed the magnet panels inside the template. Then repeat those steps for each square.Making the template was a bit time consuming but after trying & failing at placing them by hand & it being horribly off i decided the template was absolutely worth making.Now on to what it looks like.I think it's very believable from the street & even driveway that these are real windows. I sent pics to a few family members & all thought I got a new garage door! I even did this without my husband knowing & when he came home from work he was completely confused & thought I painted windows & screwed into the metal garage door (when I added the magnet handles) He said his 1st thought was it looked like I somehow had someone install a new door while he was gone but logically he knew that couldn't be. So yeah. They look good. Cheap & a great way to update that curb appeal!Highly recommend. I'll update my review if I notice any problems. And give a year update.

I didn’t even know these existed!! I was searching for the magnetic handles and decor & came across these. After reading reviews I figured I would give it a try. I installed these in literally like 15 or less. I didn’t even use a measuring tape or have to tape it off or anything. I just eye-balled it & it looks great to me. We just moved into this house & after down payment, closing cost, & buying furniture, I really didn’t want to have to buy new garage doors. I probably would later on down the road but for now, I’m happy with this. My kids told me we have the best looking house on the block….& all I did was put magnets on the garage 🤣🤣🤣. It definitely makes a difference, I must say!!!

I bought a model home and when they converted the office back to a garage and installed the garage door they didn’t add the panel of windows to match the existing single door garage. I got a quote for $916.00 to install the top panel with windows. I thought, what the heck, let’s try these. As I installed them I was laughing uncontrollably imagining what my neighbors must be thinking as they probably thought I was crazy but holy moly, not one person knows they aren’t real until I point it out. I bought two packs and saved at least $850. If you are on the fence about trying these, just BUY THEM!!!!

cheap easy way to get a fresh look

First, the reason I removed one star was because the first image in this product listing is that of a REAL windowed garage with probably photo-shopped black windows. Quite misleading, false, and I just don't appreciate that.However, I did know exactly what I was buying based off other reviews and image uploads. From the street, it does look mostly real. You will not have reflection, and you do NOT have the molding that comes with garages that have real windows. If you are familiar with those identifiers, then this will fool no one. If your neighbor also has real windows, it does also make it pretty apparent that you do not.The magnets are actually quite strong, and be sure to right side. Only one of the sides has strong magnetism ;)Make sure you template this out, don't eye ball it. Its easy to spot mistakes if things aren't straight, thus really taking away any realism you may want to impose on others.My wife got home, was extremely upset, she'd thought I bought a new garage door at first glance! Afterwards she was happy I did this!This look works for us. We didn't want to spend the money on a new garage door, and we don't really like the windows for privacy reasons. Windows also don't help with keeping your garage insulated during our cold winters, so real windows just don't seem practical to me.

I am very pleased with the turnout ( see pic). Very good value, had no issues installing, although the magnets didn’t go to the edge of the raised panel. I was able to figure out where to place them to achieve a pleasing result. . I had to use a ruler to center them and achieve a consistent distance between “ panes” to appear like a window. I used a paint stick with a permanent marker and marked the distance from the recessed portion of my door to quickly apply the magnets after the first one was measured. I did the tops first and then used the uppers to align the lowers without the stick. Only took about 15 minutes once the learning curve was achieved. Magnets are very strong and Seem like they will stay in place. When I had to adjust one, I had to lift the magnet up from the surface to adjust, and couldn’t move them once the whole thing made contact with the door. Handles and brackets were purchased in another order.

I have grown to detest the look of it in comparison to the rest of my home! I did paint it and it just looked "unfinished" --- I bought this product and couldn't be more pleased. It was super easy to use --- The magnets are high quality and I didn't have to do any cutting --- I have four magnets per "panel" on my garage and I just eyeballed them for the look I wanted. It now looks like I have a much more expensive garage door with windows and everyone I show it to are impressed and they will probably end up getting them for their homes. Really great product and super inexpensive way to add some curb appeal. You won't be disappointed!
