Parasene Galvanised Steel Coal Bunker No.5 Coal / Fuel / Salt / Feed / Corn / 5cwt / Storage

Very flimsy, bulged out when fuel added, had to put reinforcements around top lip, best bit was front sliding door, worked ok.Unfortunately this bunker will be scrapped at end of season as it’s not good enough. The firm who made it needs to know to corrugate the steel to give it strength.

The item delivered was inferior quality. very thin metal. The top was loose and not hinged as my previous model purchased some years ago. One side had a dint in it on the top edge. The hatch was not as the picture with a handle. Rather a sharp lip which could easily inflict a deep cut to the hand whilst using it. Or cut a leg if you bumped into it. This all came to light only as the product was being assembled. The sellers Images Accessories and not S&MC gardenware said they would replace or refund, but of course this would need me to dismantle it - more time and effort. But did not explain why the product delivered did not match the product as per the photo on the web site. Seriously not impressed.

Arrived with dents in various places, the product is made from thin sheets of steel and as for value for money,the least said the soonest mended. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT!

Relatively easy to assemble, watertight but could do with an internal slanting shelf above the opening to prevent the full weight of the fuel above forcing the fuel below to spill out as it is being collected.

The biggest pile of crap. It was easy to put together. It’s so flimsy, the bunker as almost bursted apart when the coal went into it.Stay well clear from it.

Really, really bad build. the self assembly is a nightmare, half the the holes don't line up, the panels don't fit together without some pre panel beating and half the nuts and bolts don't fit together (bad threads) so I had to buy my own from the hardware shop. If you have minimal experience with self assembly or have a light toolbox then look elsewhere! I haven't put coal into it yet but, having done the build and seen how utterly poor it is, I'm worried about it's ability to do the job tbh.
