Pros: The case looks good. It has decent, durable construction, isn't terribly bulky (but some would consider it a bit thick). The clasp works well and keeps the case closed. Room for credit cards, license, and other needs. Nice looking case overall and very functional.Cons: Only one, really. The blue encasing ring is not well sized for the device. It overlaps the screen and doesn't fit the corners quite right. It's a pity, really. The rest of the case is spot on, but this one misfit is annoying and detracts from what otherwise would be a great case. A bit of QC would have gone a long way. Perhaps this is a one-off complaint and other cases may fit perfectly. Mine does not. The material does not stretch nor adjust in shape, so the alignment error will not abate over time. Again, a pity as I really like this case for all its other functions and appearance.

This does not fit the original nook color. Or rather, it does, but BARELY. I had to stretch it and it just looks pretty ugly overall. But functional. I won't be returning mine. HOWEVER that's not why this has an average rating. I understand that this was not made for the nook color. There is just a noxious smell coming from it, and I am not sure why. Hopefully it will dissipate; the material also feels slightly cheap, but that's not a huge issue. It is well made enough for all intents and purposes, and probably would look rather nice if I didn't have my nook color's corners sticking out.

The fit isn't perfect, but it's good enough. And because the fit isn't perfect, sometimes the magnets to wake/sleep the Nook don't line up correctly and it doesn't lock when you close it, which can lead to a substantial amount of battery loss if you don't have auto-lock on. The little flap to close it also doesn't line up parallel to the case half the time, but it's not a major issue. Ports are lined up correctly, however, which was my main concern with this case. Color is also accurate, unlike other cases on Amazon. Overall, I'm loving the case and I am happy with my purchase.

Unfortuntately, sellers don't make a very clear distinction between cases for a Nook HD 7 and the Nook 7" Tablet. I love this case. It's sophistcated looking and durable and not some screaming neon hue. What sucks is that it's about an inch too short to fit my 7" Nook Tablet. GMYLE makes alot of cases, but sadly I have not seen one of this design that will fit my, still naked, Nook. GMYLE can't be blamed for saying it WOULD fit the 7" Tablet. I am just disappointed that they made no real effort in being transparent about the fact that it WOULD NOT. Shame on them. A lovely product poorly marketed.

The case seemed like a pretty decent case . Why I returned it, is because although I was looking for a case to hold a 7 inch Nook Color, it did not fit
