Good quality product. Efficient delivery and a pleasant driver who delivered the goods.

I like the fact that these are traditional wooden draughts of a quality that is reasonably priced and doesn’t break the bank. They will last for many years to come. These can be used by children and adults to play a great game of draughts. The bonus is the handy drawstring bag to keep them in.

I bought these because I’ve previously purchased Jacques games and have been impressed by the quality and lifespan of their products. This didn’t disappoint. They come in a durable, fine mesh-style bag which has a drawstring and I found a suitable size for the contents. The pieces (as photographed) are ridged to make stacking very simple and they are of a decent size for all of the chess boards that we own. My only drawback is price - considering that this doesn’t come with a playing board. I am, however, very happy with what I’ve got.

Well made

Just what we needed for ny visiting 9 and 12 -year old grandsons from Australia while stung in London with me. They ar great games players and it was perfect.

The quality feel and smooth varnish finish of these turned lathe counters. Playing on a wooden board surface they slide across and stack neatly into crowners and help me enjoy the game with my grandson. £5 dearer than others but well worth the extra. A premium product.

Fairly nice. Small, little bit uneven finish. Bag is woven paper, not fabric. They are quite nice. The bag seems cheap though. My only problem was they arrive in clear cellophane, and while you couldn’t see the pieces, the bag is so thin, it was immediately obvious what they were so the present I was putting together for a surprise was spoilt. There was no envelope or package, just the Jaques woven paper bag (which is itself so thin you can see through a bit), then clear cellophane.

Goes well with a decent sized chess board and not too expensive either. Would recommend if anyone has a chess board

Perfette ben fatte, meglio di quelle in plastica, con un prezzo molto interessante. Sono ottime al tatto e si incastrano bene una sull'altra. Se servono pedine per dama non andrei oltre queste.
