Great phone if you want main use to be far away from phone socket
Bought this because we hardly go into the room where the socket is. Although there are many portable handsets, this one allows you to see/read messages on the answering machine, when most answering machines have to be plugged into the socket directly. The relay station avoids this. Quality product too.

Good signal pick up
I added the longer Ariel that’s included and can now get a clear signal from the base station where the line box comes into the house.

Works well but not in shed
This is very good for garden etc but it doesn’t work in shed

actually improved my mums life in her bungalow that eats any wireless signals within one fith of the house, this phone works fine all over and in the garden.

Best DECT range and coverage
The range on these is like no other I have used. I work for BT in business side and have put these into business. I had to get some for myself to cover both inside and while in the garden
