VERY easy to install. VERY effective to use.
I was experiencing a lot of trouble with my cabled disk brakes. The calliper would keep losing grip of the cables over time and it just felt like my brakes would become less and less effective the more I used them, requiring constant attention. I’ve had these hydraulic brakes for a while now and they’re just as sharp and responsive as the first time installing them. Speaking of which, I was initially a bit daunted by the installation process but this whole process was just so easy and straight forward. It took me about fifteen minutes to do everything and I couldn’t be happier with the results.

Not even worth a cheap replacement
Even for a Zoom product, these were terrible. I needed to bleed them before I used them, it took an entire week before the brake pads wore in. It took 3 weeks for the pads to wear out and the pistons as a result, popped out enough to let air into the system. If you're buying for someone who's never used hydraulic brakes before, or a child's first set of, then these are okay. If you have any skill in MTB, cross country, freeride, etc; and looking for replacement brakes, then go for Clarks M2, which are roughly the same price. Or, you could buy for double the price, quad piston hydraulics from Clarks. In short, for kids or beginners. Do not buy just because you like the colour, or need a replacement.

Difficult to bleed
Nice and easy to fit and look very appealing....but can anyone offer any solution to successfully bleeding these brakes!? Whenever the lever is released for a moment the next pull has no feel and the lever has to be pumped to get any sort of confidence inspiring feel or pressure despite both brakes being bled many times with only slight improvement each time, then if left to stand for an hour or two the feeling goes again

Cheap, Cheerfull, and they work
Working straight outer the box.. cheap brakes that I fitted over a month ago now, no problems, not as powerfull as Shimano but my lad wanted them due to the cool colour. greatly improved by me bleeding them... so prepare to have to do the same... tbh if you don't have the tools to bleed hydro brakes then have a word with yourself...…. Bleed these from the caliper, remove the trigger grub screw, caliper grub screw, then inject shimano fluid from the caliper, keep the the brake lever turned upwards verticaly or you will trap air inside it,, whilst injecting oil, gently pump the lever to help air out of the piston. once bleeded they really are a good cheap brake...….. not a great deal in price between these and entry level shimano thou so you make your choices...…… Now don't go thinking 'Any' hydro brake is perfect out the box.... there not.... so if you buy any manufacturer you'll want to bleed it up yourself.
