Not your average subwoofer. I built several boxes for these subs and listened to them in in my trunk. One very deep ported(22 or 24 inches and a 4 inch slot port) but I really love how these drivers sound in an 18 deep box with Aeros. I've owned all the major brands, SPL subs, ect. This Driver built to last and in the right enclosure, and proper power, you will have a good daily drive. I have another box I made which is sealed just recently. They will be getting a test run soon. I bought a third by accident and won't be returning. I had a 3K Cosmos Audio amplifier wired at 2ohm so they were getting 1000 watts each I was so impressed, I even bought a 15 which I will review next time.

These sound great!
I bought one of these and put it in a 3 cu ft ported box and it sounds fantastic. These are the best sounding subs I have heard aside from Sundown's X. These hi q's can hit the lows and the upper bass notes which most subs cannot do both. They either hit the lows and fall off on the upper or vice versa. Also, their customer service is great. I asked some questions and they responded promptly. I recommend Savard.

I have listened to many, many subwoofers over the past 30+ years and these are one the best I've ever heard. They are extremely tight, with extremely low distortion. They handle every watt I've thrown at them. It sounds to me like "Hands of Gold" installed something wrong to have blown one of these subs, or the guy just doesn't know what he's doing... I am running two of these subs at 1 ohm with a Taramps HD3000. It hits so hard and I've yet to hear distortion or even a hint of an issue from these subs. I highly recommend these subwoofers. Don't listen to the haters. These make JL subs look like toys.
