No. If the pipe is buried under soil or concrete, the ultrasound cannot escape to the surface, so the device will not pick it up. Our detector only senses ultrasound traveling through open air.

It can power on normally, but after startup, there is no signal at all. Is it a device issue? What can the customer do?

Try using the matching ultrasonic transmitter to see if there is a signal. Perform initial tests in a quiet, indoor environment away from background noise.
