Easy to install and my phone connected to it without issue. Microphone works well for phone calls. My car is running very old firmware but did not need to update this as the instructions suggested.

I disabled the built-in handsfree using the dip switch as I already have it built in. The sound quality is superb, as good as CD. It is a bit ropey, sometimes I am unable to change the volume unless I switch to CD 7 ato change the mode (BT Audio - USB - BT Audio).

It took me 30 min to connect this device.Shipping was fast.

Simple to install great quality sound, i did not bother keeping the changer connected, seemed pointless, this worked right away.Couple of niggles, according to the instructions if you have an mmi2g hi dip 2,3 abd 4 should be on, so i did that and it's all fine however phone calls are disconnected after a few seconds, ive yet to undo the dip switch changes to try out again. And it has not synced up my phone address book, would have been great if it did but it has not.UPDATE: Reverted all dips to off but still phone calls last 15 seconds before being cut off, only happens with this unit, speaker, headphones etc all do not suffer the same issue so this has to be firmware on the device rather than the android version. Phone is prompted to sync contacts with device but it never does, and I believe it never will, due to compatibility, which is a shame.So what I have is a great quality music player replacing the old cd player, which is great but the phone options are a non starter, it wont work as a phone, and wont sync either, so I have downgraded to 3 stars.

After living with this for over two years I thought I'd write a brief review. Note that the issue I have had since day one may be related to the car and not the DJC interface, but I mention it here just in case.I have never tried to use the unit for phone calls/handsfree, instead just relying on it for high quality streaming for music. It works first time about 80% of the time. The other 20% the unit will not be recognised by the car and it instead tries to play a CD (the CD changer is disconnected and the DJC unit connected in its place). Turning off the engine, removing the key and restarting makes no difference. Soft resetting the MMI (2006 A6) doesn't help. The only thing that will get the unit recognised is to lean over to the glovebox and push the 'reset' button on the DJC unit with a pen that I now know to keep handy in the glovebox for this reason! It's not the end of the world but it does always tend to happen when I've set off and have forgotten to check if the DJC has been connected. I then have to pull over and faff about with resetting it but then generally speaking all is well for another few days.

Product fantastic, audio quality very good.I would have given 5 stars if the sellers would have answered any of my questions, this meaned for me, no customer assistant at all.Also, the bluethoot connection quite often remains stuck with the last song played and doesn't display the right song title.

Works an absolute treat. Medium difficult let to install as you need to be handy with tools to get the cables through. But once installed, as the navigation buttons work as intended and the menu will allow you to skip tracks or pause, whilst not ruining your dash or requiring an alternative expensive screen.
