Living here in Minnesota, it was obvious that I would need some studded tires to ride during the winter. My friends all recommended tires that ran $150 and up. Seeing the Shartktooth on Amazon I ordered one to see how the quality was and after mounting the tire and riding on it for a bit I ordered another. Nice to get two tires for about the price of one of the other recommended tires. These work great on hardpack and slushy snow along with ice. The only thing they have a bit of a problem with is really rough ice, but I do not think any tire would work really well. I have put about 200 miles on these tires and they look great.

I have just mounted these tires a week ago. "front and back" so far I have not had a snow riding experience. but on the roads the work well. on dry pavement they are noisy! but that is expected as you are riding on carbide studs! cornering is grippy. until I find the snow I wont know much else. ohh yeah the rolling resistance is less than my Kenda tires ive been using. not that my Kenda Juggernaut tires needed replacing, just not ment for the snow...so far I would recommend! ps sry for the poor image quality. I spend more money on my bike than on my phone...

I HAVE ABOUT 12 MILES ON THEM WITH ICE AND SNOW AND AM WELL SATISFIED WITH TRACTION. THE TIRES WERE EASY TO INSTALL. NOTICE MORE DRAG WHICH IS TO BE EXPECTED AND MORE NOISE. I AM SATISFIED.

I was warned by the local bike shop these tires would be too hard to get on the rim and not hold up. They installed easily and I now have about 50 miles on them from the winter. So far I am very happy and would buy again.

Put these studded tires on my rad rover. They perform spectacularly! Just what I need for the ice covered roads in the hills around Fairbanks Alaska.

Fat tires do OK on snow, but studded snows like these are essential if you're riding on ice - makes all the difference in the world. Shipped quickly, arrived in good shape, and with a winter of riding the tires have only lost one stud.
