The book has 705 total phrases. One thing I love about this book is that, it doesn’t only teach you phrases, it also teaches you a lot of words too. The price is very small, the value is very good. Very easy for beginners, very simple, very helpful. Great deal as well!

This is a helpful tool when I visit Mexico. I appreciate the way the book is laid out and how many common phrases are included. It is a great addition to my DuoLingo Spanish course.

This is a good book to have when learning Spanish. It helped me more than Rosetta Stone.

I studied Spanish over 20 years ago and have lost much of my ability to speak it. With an upcoming trip to a region that speaks Spanish, I needed a book I could stash in my bag and use to help me practice communicating during our travels. This book is very logically organized, has nearly all the phrases I might need, and has some basic grammar reminders. Everything is in English, Spanish, and phonetically written out with word emphasis. The word emphasis is a life saver. While I have some Spanish knowledge, this book is awesome. I am going to look for one in another language I don't know at all and use it to prepare for a visit to another part of the globe. Absolutely worth the cost.

HARD TO USE ON STREET

It’s what it says it is…a lot of phrases to memorize. Como está, buenos días…etc. wasn’t really helpful to me.Madrigal’s Magic Key to Spanish is THE book.

The book has Spain & Mexico Spanish and it will you let you know the difference. It’s a pretty formal, basic & older book, so you can forget about learning slang and terminology that would help you with modern situations (texting, Uber, vaping, etc). I’m a simple person so this is perfect for folks like me.

Was traveling to Spain for a month and brought this book with me. It is the perfect size (it's light and doesn't take too much room) and the phrases were easy to memorize, applicable and very helpful. A lot of spanish people don't speak English so this book came very handy during my visit.

Handy to have in your bag when travelling, useful phrases and helps you pronounce them by breaking down the word to the sounding.
