Scotch Whiskey Glass and Ice Ball Mold Gift Set By Scotch Rocks

I like ice in my whiskey (or Whisky) nut even with the large square cubes, there is more ice melt than I like and the drink ends up being pretty weak by the time you get to the last sip. Short of using a metal or rock-type cube, there will always be some dilution, but this actually works pretty well. There is enough melt to bring out a bit more flavor and nose, but unless you're really pokey about drinking, the last drop was not nearly as diluted as the last drop with large square cubes. I suppose being round, there is less surface area of the cube exposed. Overall I'm happy with this set. It's nice that you can get a Solo set, as I'm the only drinker in the house and too many times you find a nice crystal set but have to spend $50 on four of them. This is a decent glass and the ice mold works pretty well. Packaged nicely if it's a gift too. I think it's a winner.

A little price but a great scotch glass. I like the ice ball, takes a long time to melt and prevents it from watering down.

My husband recently started drinking scotch, and was using our plastic kid safe drinking cups. I got him this for Christmas and it was a great find. One glass is just the right size and amount to keep him happy when he scotches, and the ice cube actually works amazingly. He premakes a bunch of these ice cubes to leave in our ice tray. He may wind up getting a 6 pack ice ball maker someday, but for the occasional scotch drinker you can't really go wrong with a classy little gift like this. I also like that there's only one glass, since I don't like scotch ;)

You are paying for the ice mold. Glass will not survive being dropped. .

This is my second time purchasing this set! Got it for my boyfriend for Christmas and I unfortunately dropped and shattered it the other night. As I scanned through Amazon for a new one he insisted on this exact glass because he loved it! He was even more excited to now have two ice trays. The ball comes out perfectly and melts in a cool way! Only thing I would change is that you can purchase just the glass and/or multiple glasses! Other than that I will definitely be purchasing this again around Christmas for my dad and brothers!

The glass is great, not thin and flimsy like some others but thick and fairly strong. I've had no problem or worries about it breaking. The ice ball mold works very well and I enjoy having my drinks with it as it does melt slower than normal ice cubes, plus it just looks awesome!
