Multiple pairs look faded or bleached out.
First off these seem like they'd be super warm and comfy but after the first pair came looking like they'd been dunked in bleach I got a replacement sent and they look even worse. It isn't sun bleached because it's also between the fingers and under the labels. It seems to be a defect in the fabric used in manufacturing. I'll be ordering another brand because this quality control issue is so obvious that I can't imagine what kind of defects lie within the parts that are supposed to be sealed and water proof. I am very disappointed as the reviews were all so good.

Sadly not warm enough
These probably deserve 3 stars, but for how they were promoted, for how they were billed, for how well they were reviewed, for how expensive these are, these fell short. They were billed as cold-weather, you-can-do-anything in these gloves. Yet, my hands, and especially my fingers, were cold. Not right away, but cold enough when they SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN and were promised they would not be. Plus, the fingers are so huge, they are not nearly flexible enough to be able to pick things up and move things with fingers. Stiff, inflexible, which could have improved over time, but they weren't warm enough, which was the one reason they were purchased.

new and maybe improved??
I bought these to replace a pair of 5 year old Storm Trooper I's that were the best gloves (not mittens) that I've ever had. I have little wussy hands when it comes to cold and not once was I let down by those gloves. Primary use is snowmobiling and while they're not the best gloves out there for extended periods at higher speeds (the leather on the face could cover more to fix that) because eventually the wind will cold soak them and get through, but they have served me well for all around use. They never leaked and most importantly of all THE LINERS NEVER ONCE SEPARATED FROM THE SHELL, that has to be the most important feature for a glove out there. I could put my hands in soaking wet and it was never an issue, they held together admirably. But alas just like your favorite pair of shoes every good thing must come to an end. The new version is very similar, still gore tex, fit was comparable with the XL (my hands are 8.5" circumference, middle finger is 3.5" from tip to crotch, bony skeletor digits, not fat sausages) the new ones feel slightly larger than the old. The palms went from a very thin goatskin leather to a textured polyurethane type affair so we'll see how that holds out because the palms were one thing that actually wore out on the old ones along with some stitching. The finger grips still have a strip of thicker leather which is good because that definitely takes the most punishment. The elastic cinch string on the gauntlet closure if definitely improved. Time will tell how the new and supposedly improved version holds up, but if they're anything like the old ones I'll definitely be pleased.

Even fit MY big meathooks!
I've had a pair of Gordini gloves for about five years and the leather has finally worn thin on the fingers and palms. I think that attests to the durability of Gordini products. I was a little unsure about spending this much for a pair of gloves but when they arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. The XXL gloves are massive. Big enough to fit my big paws! These have nice touches like the hand warmer pocket on the back and quick release fasteners. The gauntlet style cuffs pull over my jacket sleeves and keep the snow out. Best of all, they arrived on a day when they high temperature was 22F. Up here in the high Colorados, that's not uncommon. I just hope these last as long as my first pair. They look like they should.

AWESOME gloves for the price!
I regularly have cold hands when skiing and finding a pair of gloves that help reduce this issue has been a challenge to say the least. These are AWESOME and I highly recommend these, even for women! These far out-beat my Hestra's without needing to add in hand warmers, at as low as 10 degrees on the mountain. I'll probably add hand warmers into the zip pockets on the front for skiing up in WY and MT, but otherwise, a fantastic purchase and a steal at this price!

Excellent Ski gloves, super warm, and the best value for money!
These gloves are amazing! First of all don't be put off by the terrible photo that is attached to them - these gloves are the real deal and they look great! I have circulation problems in my hands and regularly suffer from cold and sore hands, so I have been shopping around for great skis gloves. I first of all went for the Hestra Army Leather Heli ski (which I have always admired), but found them to be too bulky with the liners and outer gloves! I researched a lot and found Gordini GTX Stormtrooper II gloves were continually being reviewed very highly as a warm glove and great value for money! These gloves have totally delivered, I have skied in 20 degrees and 40 degress with these gloves, and my hand were just right on all occasions. These gloves look great, have zipped pouches for hand warmers, multiple clasps to seal against your ski jacket, have double leather protection between index finger and thumb to protect against those sharp edges when carrying skis, and they are toasty warm. The only place I would foresee some criticism against gloves 2x the price, is that they are more on the bulky side - which I prefer! Thanks Gordon - these gloves are amazing! (Feedback to Gordini - your gloves are amazing but sort out your images and descriptions).

The best gloves I've owned.
Best gloves I've ever owned. I ski in the Northwest, Washington in particular. It's wet and cold. These Gore-Tex Gloves keep my fingers warm and dry. Never had to use the heater insert things, Since I bought these, my hands haven't been cold 1 time while in the mountains. The leather goggle cleaner on the thump works perfect too. One thing I was worried about (from other reviews) are the safety straps that go around your wrist. Some folks said they broke or don't work...Well, mine work great, I take off my gloves almost every lift ride...So, hundreds of times this year so far and they are like new and going nowhere... I'll never buy another pair without it.

Solid Winter Gloves
I'm from the midwest, and it's cold and snowy here. I bought these to shovel snow and possibly go snowboarding with. Haven't gone snowboarding yet with them, but they are awesome for shoveling snow... warm with good enough control to handle the shove. Very satisfied.
