Asterom Handmade Walking Cane for Men - Unique Wooden Canes and Walking Sticks Fashionable - Alien

This is not some generic cane you find in the rack at your local store. This is a work of art to which the artisans at Asterom should be proud.The cane arrived well protected having been boxed and wrapped very adequately. The sculpting on the head of the cane was exquisite. The Alien Xenomorph was rendered in amazing detail.The head screwed into the length of the cane without issue and the metal ring that sits between the head and the length of the cane fit without a discernible seam. The length of the cane was smoothly polished. Craftsmanship was impeccable on both parts.Overall the cane was very sturdy and surprisingly lighter than I expected. I was immediately able to balance easier while standing and without fear that the cane would break. In my opinion this product was worth every penny and I would highly recommend ‎Asterom to anyone that has the need of a cane or walking stick but would like something with that extra bit of style. When people see you with this cane they will not see a medical aid but instead a work of art that will turn their heads and have them asking where you got it.

I really like this cane. I use it all day at work (mostly at my desk but getting to meetings, lunch and the printer). I also walk twice a day for rehab about four miles total leaning on this cane. The bottom has a rubber tip making it easier to get around. I weigh about 220 pounds and this cane has been more than sturdy enough to help me walk. It is also light enough to carry for hours. I didn't realize how important this was until I used an umbrella to replace the cane for an hour. I don't get any of the back pain from holding the cane in front of me. I know I didn't need to get the Alien top to the cane, but it was well worth the additional $20 for something that stands out in a crowd. Everyone likes the look and the attention to detail of the handle. I get compliments everywhere I go. There are a lot of nice looking canes on the internet, but I know this one is sturdy enough to do the job. The different handles make me want to buy one of their other cane already.

to preface this review: I am only 28, have spinal stenosis, and had an accident playing soccer that broke 3 vertebrae and herniated 4 discs all at once. I have had all the surgeries that they could do to fix it up, but there are no more they can do, meaning it was time for a cane.Review: This is a nicely carved and sturdy cane. It will feel lighter than most Americans expect because the Oaks we have here are mostly Live Oak which are much denser than the Oak you would find in Ukraine. The finish is very well done along the entirety of the cane and the accenting to pop the detail on the xenomorph. This cane also has a weight rating of 300lbs, where most canes only have a rating up to 250lbs, which was a big selling point for me on the longevity of the handle being constantly used.The only downside is that everyone is different. No matter how well made and high quality a handle is, it won't be comfortable for everyone. You need to figure out what is comfortable for you by visiting a local mobility shop or even a Walgreens. Ignore any reviews that complain about the comfortability, because that is a personal problem, not a problem with the cane handle itself.

Purchased this for my dad for Christmas. I could not stop laughing (in a good way) at how amazing this cane was. I was more than delighted to purchase because Alien is great and my dad loves the movies. Couldn't have been happier when it arrived. My husband thought it was plastic until I told him it was hard carved and he looked at it more thoroughly. It is absolutely beautiful and he was able to cut the cane pole to my dad's necessary height. I would 100% purchase any other items from this seller. Absolutely beautiful and highly recommended. Absolutely love this cane by far the best I've ever owned strong sturdy beautiful piece of art looks great and feels wonderful in my hand it's amazing how it's ergonomic... UPDATE... I've had this cane for 2 years now everyday uses and it is still perfect I have needed new parts nor any kind of repair. It so good I'm going to order 1 or 2 more for new look different occasions and so forth. If your on the fence about it do yourself a favor and get you a cane that looks amazing and will last for years.

My search words were "cool cane", and I got it! I am having periodic knee issues and needed a cane but didn't like the average plain variety that everybody has. I found it. While being a huge Giger and Alien series fan, this was perfect. The detail to the Xenomorph head is amazing for a product that isn't a custom made item. My only comment would be to distress the stain a little more on the handle to accentuate the bony structure of the carving, but that may happen on its own with prolonged use. Great Job!

It was necessary for me to get a cane due to nerve damage in my legs. I wanted a cool and unique cane so I typed "Fancy Walking Stick" into Amazon and on the first page was the most awesome, perfect cane for me. I get so many compliments on the Alien topper. It's one of the coolest purchases I've ever made. The build quality is superb and I know that I will be able to rely on this cane for many, many years to come. The product is well made and is more elegant in appearance than I thought it would be. The price for this item is far lower than I would have paid elsewhere for a solid walnut cane. Also, I have had more compliments and requests as to where to get one of these over the past few months that the maker should be quite busy.
