The Italians do wonderful things with their grains, risotto (from this ingredient) and polenta being the two the leap to mind. They're both a bit labor-intensive and time consuming, but worth every minute of the effort. (I say that even when it's my effort, for anyone rolling their eyes in the belief that someone else might be doing my cooking.) I haven't compared different brands of Arbio rice, but this turned into a perfectly enjoyable product - with lots of sauteed mushroom pieces cooked right in, and a bit of cheese to finish. -- wiredweird

LOVE THIS RICE! TASTE AND TEXTURE IS ALWAYS FRESH! I COOK IT IN A RICE STEAMER SO IT'S VERY EASY. IT IS ORGANIC, HEALTHY THE AROMA IS WONDERFUL WHEN COOKING! I DIDN'T GIVE IT 5 STARS BECAUSE OF THE PLASTIC CONTAINER. THIS IS GREAT VALUE BUT BE WARY IF YOUR ARE CONCERNED ABOUT PLASTIC CONTAINERS!

I like this rice enough to have had it sent to another family member. For me, I like that it's a brown rice. I prefer the flavor of brown rice so am looking for an organic brown, because I don't always need to use basmati rice in my dishes.

There is an easy recipe on the side of the container. Made it for dinner and it was a hit. Delicious.
