JBL Stage A130 pr bookshelf speakers

Over the years I have found that JBL never disappoints in speakers, and these are no exception to that. These sound really great, and will take on and beat speakers in the $500 range. I don't usually care for aluminum tweeters, but they made these work great! Very balanced, sound signature is just ever so lightly on the bright side (but not fatiguing) and the bass response is excellent for a 5 1/4" woofer.Cabinet is not fancy, but still very attractive.Solid entry level audiophile grade.Just buy them, you won't regret it.I felt the need to expand on this review. The more time I get on these speakers, the better they sound. Word has it that the price has been going up on these. and that doesn't surprise me because they will beat speakers costing many times more. These are giant killers, they sound amazing! If they come available again and for a decent price, just buy them.

I haven't rate anything for years. But I have to rate these little giants. Received them last Thursday and placed just besides my TV as seen on picture. They have bass punch, clarity and sweet sound. For $179 per pair they are a steal. I have Elac B2 6.2 and Klipsch RP 600M and the sound of the JBLs can be compared with both except for the bigger bass of the Klipsch and the Elac. But I like the small punchy bass of the JBLs. Also they looks to have great quality components. I hooked them up and started to play Jazz, Latin Jazz, Salsa, Pop and Rock all day long and do the same thing next day and did not get tired of listening to them. Excellent sound on every aspect on these small speakers. Remember they are only 13" height. I am thinking on selling my RP 600M and buy a second pair because my room is too small....Not disappointed at all.

Genuinely great speakers for this price point. Value is incredible. A little lacking in the low end side of things, but you can always add a sub to your setup.

These are definitely the best bang-for- the-buck bookshelf speakers available! Very good reviews on most audiophile sites, solidly built by renowned speaker experts JBL. Only drawback was that they were actually cheaper at jbl.com.

Love the sound produced by these A130 JBL speakers. They have amazing clarity and good base for their size, I switch on 12” sub when I need more base. Also like the plastic surface - no fingerprints, the front panel has rounded side edges that I appreciate.I paired the speakers with a good quality class D amplifier Aiyima A07 that only has one knob for volume - I don’t feel the need to adjust treble or base anymore.

For the price point? Spot on!! They sound amazing in our living room - we are impressed with the bass this lil guys push!!! Nice to have a spot in the house to listen to old records on!! Get a set of these and nice stands - your house guest will comment on the nice sound!!

These speakers live up to the hype. They perform great either for music or part of a home theatre setup. It seemed that I was hearing my favorite songs for the first time as these speakers easily disappeared in the room.

Suprising live, you are there sound. Good attention paid to the all important midrange. I have much more expensive speakers that I don't listen to because the midrange sounds like it's coming from the background. And the tweeter is a little to soft & unrealistic. I should have gone with JBL first.
