SOG Escape Tactical Folding Knife- 3.4 Inch Serrated Edge Blade Emergency Pocket Knife with Glass Breaker, Wire Stripper and Line Cutter Blades-Black (FF25-CP)

I’m on my fifth SOG Escape Tactical Folding Knife, and that oughta tell you how solid this thing is. I’ve handed these out to friends and family, and every single one of them has put it straight to work. The serrated blade is sharp and tough, the glass breaker is no joke, and the extra tools make it more than just a pocket knife. It’s dependable, rugged, and built for real‑world use. Hard to beat for the price.

Right upfront I'll say that I'm no knife expert but just an average person looking for a basic EDC. I originally purchased this knife a few months back and instantly fell in love. It's got a really sleek look to it and it's a good size for me. I love the seatbelt cutter and use it more often than the actual blade to cut little things like zip ties and other packaging type tags. It's just so convenient not to have to whip out the main blade all the time. Don't worry though, the main blade is extremely sharp and cuts great! I didn't realize just how much I loved this knife until I had to leave it behind at a security check point in the front of a really long line to get into a concert. I ordered the same knife the very next day and you can be sure that I won't accidentally bring it with me to a concert again!

Bought this a while ago to just leave in my car in case I needed something on the go, but I've recently started carrying it around regularly when I messed up my Leek, and I gotta say, it's a damn nice knife. This knife has some real heft, and you never feel like it's going to bend on you. I work in retail and use it to cut boxes up every day, and it just goes through them like they're nothing. Moreover, it's got the size to easily get a solid grip and just drag it along. Still sharp after a couple months of this kind of use. Downside of it is that it doesn't have a button on the blade to just flick it open, but it has the nicest thumb studs I've seen on a knife like this. They make up for the lack of index stud for sure. Can't go wrong with this knife if you want something solid. I'm sure you can find something better if you want to put some money down, but for this price, it's definitely the best I've encountered.

Great knife. Love ergonomics of the handle fits my hand well(med hands) also like the weight. The locking mechanism works well with the knife having a nice appearance. The knife arrives sharp, however the sharpness does not appear to last long,therefore I will be sharing. This was after opening about a dozen amazon boxes. For the money I consider it a good value. I really like weight.

Amazing knife! I bought it looking for a new knife to carry around on a day to day basis! It comes in handy all the time! The blade comes extremely sharp and holds up well. I've had it for a couple months and haven't had to sharpen it. The seatbelt cutter comes in handy for so much more, I use it to slice ropes and other small items all the time plus it comes with a replacement blade under the side cover. The only thing I have not used is the glass breaker so I cannot say how it works but I imagine it works exactly as described! The knife is overall really durable and I enjoy it, nothing has fallen off or broke and I don't expect anything to for a long time. The only downside I found is the wire stripper did not work for me which might have been because at the time my blade was too dull or because the gage of the wire was too large for the smaller hole but too small for the larger hole. All in all it's a great knife I bought one for myself and for Christmas my brother really wanted the same knife for a daily use knife and he really likes it as well.

This is the second one of these I have owned. I unfortunately lost my first one, but knew I had to replace it with exactly what I had. It holds its edge really well. It is heavy duty, and does not feel like it will fall apart on you. The worst thing you can to a normal blade is use it to pry things, but this knife has survived me doing things to it that you should not. It might seem more expensive that other flip knives, but it has been worth it. I did get what I paid for. The one thing that might annoy folks is the little point at the end which can be used to break glass. Once you get use to the knife and that point you won't have a problem. It took me a while, but like I said, I really love this knife.

I spent 13 years on a fire department. This is one of my daily carry tools. Very sharp blade, easy to open, has seat belt cutter that I haven't tried and hope I never have to, and a glass breaker. Only real down side is that the "pin" glass breaker on the end does not have a cover and sticks to the material in my pockets. So far hasn't ripped any, but does delay getting it out and sometimes pokes. Not enough negative to keep me from carrying it. I had a LAPD model of this, actually multiple of those and they fell apart and I can see why LAPD gave them away. Told the family I wanted a good one for my birthday and they come up with this. Great tool.

This gem exceeded my expectations. The blade is unbelievably sharp and easy to open and close. The weight is nicely balanced and it fits well in my hand. I use it for EVERYTHING and cannot imagine having anything else on my side. I have no complaints at all. To be fair, if I were to have any con to this knife it would be the seat belt cutter. I just put it to the test this morning on an old seat belt (my daughter graduated to a booster seat and her car seat was about to expire - yes, they do have an expiration date - . Before putting it in the recycling bin, I cut the straps so nobody could use it). The seat belt cutter didn't cut as well as I thought it would - and certainly not quickly enough for an emergency situation. Granted, it was at an angle that I wouldn't be cutting a belt in emergency circumstances (I know this because I'm in law enforcement and I've had to cut people out of their seats - I carry the Houdini Pro seat belt cutter and window punch while on duty). Nonetheless, the SOG belt cutter will do the job.

Lo compré a mi esposa pero le resultó muy difícil de abrir y cerrar con sus manos pequeñas. Para mí está perfecto así que se lo cambié por un SOG Trident con apertura asistida. Éste es mas pesado pero lo hace sentir de calidad, cuando está abierta el bloqueo es magnífico, no se percibe ningún movimiento en la hoja y no hay forma de que se cierre accidentalmente, se siente prácticamente como un cuchillo fijo. Tiene además la funcionalidad de pelar cables usando la hoja principal cuando está cerrada y coincide con agujeros para 3 diferentes calibres. Finalmente la cortadora de cinturones y punta para romper cristales la hacen como su nombre lo indica una excelente herramienta para escape o rescate.

Desde que conocí ésta marca me volví fan, me gustan mucho sus producto en relación precio y calidad.

Excelente navaja, increíblemente afilada de agencia y cumple con todo lo que promete. La única queja y es más preferencia propia es sobre la ergonomia; no es mala pero podría ser mejor. Aún así recomiendo completamente esta navaja vale cada centavo.

me gusta mucho la marca SOG, esta navaja en especial esta interesante por todos los detalles que tiene y utilidades, PERO, no es táctica, ya que la hoja abre en sentido opuesto y necesitas hacer "flip" para abrir, un poco dura tambien. Aun asi, es muy buena, buen tamaño, buen peso, buen manejo.

Su forma aplanada permite llevarlo consigo todos los días. Es un producto pensado no sòlo para rescatistas sino para cualquier persona que piense seriamente en su seguridad.
