The cast iron seems to be very good quality. I followed the directions and seasoned the cooking surface and placed it face down on my ceramic grill to complete the process. Clean up after that was not too bad. I cooked my shrimp in a bath of olive oil, lemon juice, garlic and seasoning. It was a better end result than just marinating the shrimp and grilling directly. When cooked over a medium heat, I checked about every 2 minutes until they were cooked properly. This is ultimately perhaps the same result you could get with a cast iron pan, however the presentation of this would be leaps and bounds better.
