These are individually sealed so I never have to worry about them going bad, I just use what I need and store the rest for later. I used them to seal up 5 gallon buckets/mylar bags of corn, beans, rice, and quick oats. These worked remarkably well, after 2 days it was as if I vacuum sealed the mylar bags. As a matter of fact, I knew that one of my bags hadn't sealed right because I could feel the corn shaking around in the bag inside the bucket. I replaced the bag put a in a new 2000cc oxygen absorber and in couple of days vacuum packed tight like all the others. Great product, 5 stars! I have never written a review, so this is my first, but these guys deserve every star! There are individual oxygen indicators in each packet of 5 or so oxygen absorbers. They are pink when packaged, after I removed them and exposed them to air they quickly turned black. So I have every confidence that all of my absorbers were good.

I am extremely pleased with these individually sealed oxygen absorbers, and with the prompt delivery. This is my second order. They are packed with oxygen sensors so you can tell if they have been exposed to oxygen before use, and so far none of them have been, they are well packed. I consider the individual sealing to be very important as also the inclusion of oxygen sensors so you can tell if they are still good. This is an important item, for It has been foretold in the Christian prophecies that mankind is now more wicked and apostate than at any time since men have lived upon the Earth, and that it deserves to be destroyed, and that a Great Chastisement from God is approaching, and that few men will survive it. It will be the greatest punishment from God since the Great Flood of Noah. It will consist of a series of disasters including a world wide economic crash, a comet strike, a red rain, and the Third World War. This is what is foretold of the economic crash: It will be caused by governments squandering money and will begin when the axle upon which the economy rotates, confidence in the monetary system, breaks. Hyperinflation will set in and it will take a whole wheelbarrow full of money to buy the least trifle. Food will become scarce and expensive and fathers will hear their children crying for food. Many will starve. Late last year, God began warning Christians through his prophets (you can see them being interview on YouTube) that a world economic crash is coming and to lay away food, and to do it NOW! If you wait too long, food will no longer be available. So I am laying away food, enough for at least two years, food that does not require refrigeration. I am buying whole grains (do not buy whole grain corn unless it is certified as non-GMO, oats are never GMOed), and packing them with one of these oxygen absorbers in each sealed five gallon food grade plastic bucket. The oxygen absorbers will absorb the oxygen in the sealed bucket, killing any bugs and parasites that are in it (and there are almost always will some bugs, such as grain moth larva). Grain packed this way and kept in a cool dry place is expected to stay fresh for twenty years or better, all without refrigeration. (Freeze dried meals and country hams will also keep without refrigeration for years).

Individually well-wrapped in heavy plastic sections. In my first use, I sealed a 5 gallon mylar bag of rice in a five gallon plastic pail, after getting the right heat setting for the mylar and doing a rather good job of sealing (if i must say so myself), I found I had not gotten all the air out nearly as good as I thought. I had a rather large amount of air puffing up the top of the bag. I put it aside and decided that I would re-pack it later.....well when i opened the pail two days later to re=pack the rice, the mylar bag was sucked in really tight around the rice....fantastic job from just one of these absorbers. My estimate of the air i didn't get out would be equivalent to a quart jar....need to practice that procedure a few times, but the absorber really did the job!

Huge thanks to the seller for actually selling a product that is exactly as described and even better! As someone who's been going out of my way to try to preserve food considering how much money it is and how little is left on our grocery store shelves now it is nice that you have went to the trouble of ceiling each one of these oxygen absorbers in their own package so as to retain the oxygen absorbing power of the other Ones. This is an absolutely brilliant idea that I have never seen done before! Great quality. Have come to order from this company with ease. Absorbers came individually sealed!! Which was fantastic. Only one at a time without having to hurry and reseal so other absorbers stay fresh and without any impact. I wish like hell all the other absorbers could be sealed individually as well. Relieves a lot of stress and hurry to preserving the other absorbers.

I ordered a 10 pack and received only a single oxygen absorber. Update: I called Packfresh and they were super friendly and said they immediately send the right pack.

They do work especially noticeable when you remove the majority of the air before sealing.

I love how they are all individually wrapped.
