Description Mirtazapine is a prescription tablet generally used as an appetite stimulant and anti-nausea drug in sufferers of chronic kidney disease or stomach disease. It increases appetite by blocking signals from the intestine and stomach to the brain. Veterinarians may use this for the treatment of companion animals.
