The trimmer is about as high as a lipstick when in storage mode, and when you fully extend it, ts is smaller than electrical toothbrush. The comb is stored inside, you need it to shape brows. It snaps on the trimmer head. The twist on design is a bit confusing, because you twist to open in one direction, and when you close and overshoot it, it pulls the trimmer head in but opens the battery compartment. It works as advertised.

I've never used a trimmer before and do not use razors as I tend to be accident prone. So I ordered this and thought I'd be brave and try it.It was an absolute pleasure to use. I can now control my peach fuzz which I've had for many years and ignored. And I look so much better. I also did my light eyebrows and gave myself an arch. It was much less painful than tweezing or waxing as I usually do.It's simple to use. Turn the bottom of it clockwise and remove the yellow tab that separates the battery that is already installed so it's operative. Turn the pink bottom counter clockwise and the trimmer will pop up and it's ready to go.I did need to put some healing salve on afterwards as the peach fuzz area was a little sensitive. It is suggested that you try this on a small area to see if you are sensitive to it. I didn't do that and I'll update this review if it turns out I have further irritation.Its easy and intuitive to use. So far so good.

The plastic feels thing and fragile. It's hard for me to turn the knob to open or access the batteries which makes it nigh on impossible for my 87 year old mother to operate. the design is poor, one knob on the bottom, turn it one way the trimmer wand extends, or retracts, turn it the other way and it ejects the battery compartment. My mom was constantly getting it backwards and getting a handful of batteries. As a trimmer it's sub par, it took the hair off my arm requiring three passes to clear one small swatch. On my beard it struggled to cut the thicker, stiffer hair. After each of us tried it several times and were disappointed we pitched it in the trash.

Can't get it to power on with the twist function. Arrived with an oily battery that got residue everywhere. cleaned it and replaced it with another battery but it's still not powering on.

This tiny electric razor really is not much bigger than lipstick (it’s maybe twice the width) to make it easy to take with you on a trip. It has three modes of shaving, two of which use the guard hidden in the battery compartment: uncovered, for close to the skin; long, and short. Although the size of the thin blade helps with precision, keep in mind that this is a razor, not an epilator, which means that your eyebrows will start to grow back more quickly than if you plucked. Also, if you have dark eyebrows/facial hair (I don’t), then it may still be visible afterward; I can’t attest to that, but it’’s a guess.This tiny electric razor runs on a single AAA battery that’s included — just pull the tab when it arrives. The trimmer extends and starts up with a twist, and the battery compartment opens when you twist in the other direction, past the closed position. This is nicely designed and seems solidly built, suggesting that it will last a while. After trying it out at home, I do like it. However, I really think that I'll reserve it for travel use. It does a pretty good job on chin hairs or any of those pesky hairs that pop up wherever you don't want them. I also tried it on eyebrows, but I think I prefer tweezers for that job. If you are constantly plagued by wiry hairs that pop up unexpectedly, this is the perfect tool to keep in your purse or tote bag because it is so nicely designed. Recommended!

Read the directions carefully because figuring out how to open the battery chamber was a bit tricky until I'd done it once. You need to do that before the razor will work. It takes 1 AAA battery so it is lightweight to carry in a purse, backpack, or luggage. It opens and closes similarly to a twist lipstick; my hubby thought that looked cool and he wants one! In terms of a shave, the blade is right there and vibrates so I only felt comfortable using it with a mirror but that was in my bathroom, a hotel bathroom, and even in the passenger side of our car. You can target small areas on the face and neck; I didn't try it anywhere else. It joins my travel kit!

With a twist, this trimmer pops up from a tube (like lipstick), making it handy for travel. I used it to trim the soft light hair on the sides of my face/jaw below my ear (peach fuzz). It works well, but is so small and light that it takes several swipes back and forth to get the job done. There are guards in two lengths so you can shape eyebrows, but I am too nervous to use one because I'm afraid it will shave my eyebrows off. I wish there were better instructions or a video that I could watch to see how to do this without becoming brow-less.I can see this also being used for the bikini area.

The media could not be loaded.  This thing has a really neat design. Twist the bottom one way and the trimmer pops up, twist it the other and the battery compartment pops out, which contains a trimmer comb attachment. Really like the way these two mechanisms work. Looks really cool and works well, especially given the price point. Now onto performance, it had no issues taking fine hair off my hand, so i expect my wife won't have any issues for minor touch ups. I say minor touch ups becauses this thing has very little power to it which shouldn't be surprising given it only takes one AAA battery. this is the type of thing i'd expect a person would put in their handbag for occasional touch ups. It's size and form factor make it very compact and discreet. Now, if you're looking to tackle some bigger projects you're clearly looking for something a little more robust than this. For the price, this is a really cute, cool, little trimmer with decent performance (again, keeping in mind the price). You can certainly buy better performing trimmers, which will cost 2-3x as much, or more robust trimmers, but this little thing is a perfect daily companion for your handbag.*** PS - it also contains a p65 cancer warning on the package (see picture) - unsure of the implications but worth noting ***

While getting ready to take the children out to the tulip fields for pictures I noticed that my eyebrows were quite bushy. The idea was great but it broke after a couple of uses

I am not a huge fan of this Remington Smooth & Silky Compact Premium Precision Trimmer. It is rather cheaply made, even though it retails for less than $17. But since it only does eyebrows, to me I find that expensive. I would have loved it had it come with another head for clipping nose hairs, yes women have them too. And I find it expensive to be replacing the batteries, a cord that removes for charging would have been ideal. Anyway, it does the job, of cleaning up any stray hairs and shortening eyebrow length, so it isn't all that bad, I would just not recommend it, personally.

While this product is definitely not suited towards any sort of major hair cutting, it is definitely great for smaller trims. If you miss a spot shaving, this will definitely take care of that little patch. I like that this twists up and down from the container, so the blade isn't smacking into things in my bag. There is a small storage compartment at the bottom too for storing a cutting guide in case you're braver than me and want to trim your eyebrows.
