As the two of them get closer and closer, they realize that their relationship will be difficult once Savannah goes back to LA. Neither one wants a long distance romance.This is a sweet mystery and romance all rolled up into one story. Of course any story with lots of cats gets my attention and there were many in this one. The cover alone had me and I’m not usually one to fall for a cover alone.It’s the first book in the “A Klepto Cat Mystery” series and it’s off to a great start. A cat that steals? Too cute. The story is well-written and fast-paced. The characters are well developed and realistic. There are some realistic situations, but they aren’t graphic and they aren’t dwelled on too much. It’s all done very tastefully.I’m looking forward to reading book #2, Cat-Eye Witness. I can’t wait to catch up with these characters again.

I enjoyed this mystery sprinkled with romance. I like the characters, except for the villains. Savannah is a veterinarian. Her Aunt Margaret is my favorite character who is determined to find all the stolen cats. Rags is the adorable klepto cat. There is danger and some violence.

Twist of fate brings 2 people together. Strong willed women. Loving and patient men, who stand by the women. And of course it all centers around felines

If you love cats this first book in the series will be tough on you to read but hang in there. The first book gives you the ground work for the rest of the series which is much better than the first. Like a lot of the comments say they didn't finished the book, well originally I was one of those people but when I started the second book I realized that I had question that could only be answered from reading the first book. I'm up to book 32 and looking forward to the rest of them. The one nice thing about this cozy mystery is not every book has a murder.

Unfortunately I was looking for a good mystery not a romance novel. The mystery takes maybe 10% of the book and is pretty poor. You have to wade thru alot of non-mystery stuff to get to the end of the mystery and have the cat save the day. Not my cup of tea.

Every once in a while I decide to purchase a book just because I want to--I truthfully don't remember if I read a review on another blog or not. As most of you know I love animals-all animals-and am owned by a cat at the moment. If I am not mistaken I think this type book is what is called a "cozy". It was delightful and I read it in about 2 hours from start to finish!It has all the requisite parts, girl is in a bad relationship and goes to help her eccentric Aunt who broke her foot. The Aunt is involved in lots of things but mostly having to do with cats. Cats are disappearing from their owners homes-------mystery has to be solved! Girl meets boy--can't decide-leaves eventually -does she return? And of course the klepto cat!!This really was a cute book and I will be getting a couple more in this series if only to find out what happens between the boy and the girl and of course what other objects klepto cat manages to steal that eventually saves the day!

This is a fun cozy mystery novel. The characters are well-drawn and multi-dimensional, something I always take note of because I've read too many novels wherein the characters are wooden and perform like puppets with never a glitch in their personalities. This book has glitchy characters that you like immediately, even when they're a little over the top. The story is well-thought-out and well-told, with just enough clues to make the ending satisfying. The cats are integral to the story and do what cats do, with panache and verve. As a cat-lover I was especially happy with their antics. Obviously the author is well-acquainted with her feline friends. This is the first in a series and I'll be looking for other books by this author in the near future. I recommend this book to anyone who likes a fun, uncomplicated summer read.

A bit slow moving at the start and rather scattered about as to the plot, I feel like I need the characters more defined and that the cats were insignificant minor characters rather than main ones even though Rags sort of plays a major role at the very end and since this is entitled "a klepto cat mystery" it should revolve more around the cat and less around Savannah's whirlwind love life. Perhaps future books in the series will be more kept cat centered.

Terrific gentle read. Not filled with fast paced action but filled with real feeling and a great little plot. Looking after her aunt as she recovers from an accident has our heroine involved in catnapping. Who and why? Our heroine likes everything mapped out for her and suddenly she finds herself having to step out of her comfort zone. Not only in her sleuthing but also in her love life. Not really mysterious but if you love family sagas with a bit of mystery than this is definitely for you.

As I love cats when I say this series I had to read it, will be reading more loved it.
