Biosilk Silver Lights Conditioner, 12 Ounce

My hair is about 50% white and tends to yellow a bit. This is the only "purple/blue" shampoo /conditioner I have ever used. I love the shampoo but it is very drying. This conditioner leaves my hair "gummy". I continue to use it but need to wash my hair several times before it stops being over-conditioned.The regular Biosilk conditioner is not "strong" enough to compensate for the drying effect of the shampoo for me.

I was looking for something to bring out silver highlights in my gray hair. It is not as effective as I had hoped. I think that other conditioners have been better for my hair in the past, whether they are for gray hair or not. I was a little disappointed in it.

Great shampoo but sadly doesn't take out the brassy look out of my blonde hair. I have gotten better stuff at Sally's.

It makes my blond hair look good, not too purple. But it is SO HARD TO RINSE OUT. Unless you have time to stand under the water and flip your hair for about 5 minutes, you can expect sticky gross tresses after your hair dries.

Don't see or feel much difference from any other conditioner and for the price that a shame. Wouldn't buy it again.

I didn't notice much of a difference after using it, it smells good. I would not buy it again though.

I had silver hair, dyed from brown, for the better half of last year. After two bleaches and a lightening color, my hair looked almost perfectly gray. After a few washes, my hair started to show a little yellow and gold sheen from certain angles, so under the advice of a friend, I tried a toning conditioner. The first time I bought Clairol Shimmer Lights, which while doing the job, sometimes left my hair with a purple glow and didn't really do much conditioning. Biosilk, on the hand, is excellent all around. The conditioner perfectly extinguishes brassy highlights and leaves hair feeling soft and almost "normal". Anyone with bleached blonde hair will prize Biosilk for lending a little extra time between touch ups by banishing brassiness. A real step up from the "purple-goop" shampoos and conditioners sold at drugstores.

It Was a complete waste of money. Have thrown the entire bottle out. Left my hair coarse and unmanageable. Even my hairdresser commented on my hair, and told me she had never seen it in such bad shape.
