The chopping board came in excellent condition with no cosmetic damage whatsoever. I was happily surprised at the size and the quality of the board as I took a risk when ordering this and am not disappointed at all. The chopping board can easily accomodate the largest of chickens, large joints of meat and is big enough to use for cutting / chopping large amounts of veg with ease. The wood (bamboo) is excellent quality and should last some years. I do recommend that buyers rub some good quality oil, such as walnut oil, into the bamboo board to season it and help the wood last. Cleaning can be a very mionor issue due to it's size as it's quite large for a standard kitchen sink. However, due to the price and the quality I would recommend that you do not be put off by the size as it is probably the best bargain you've had in a long time. The drainage notch around the edge is a very welcome idea as I'm sure many others are like myself and have had too many years of being irritated by the blood of meat and chicken pouring off the cutting / chopping board thus making a mess of the worktop thus adding to the cleaning up. This board removes that nuisance and kkeps everything on the board. I highly recommend this product as it is certainly the best chopping board I have ever had .... and it comes with two free wooden tools. Buy it now while the very low price is still available as I'm sure this board will easily sell for at least double this price.

I only use for rolling out dough, not for chopping meat as wanted a large board just for that and the spoon and spatula came in handy for turning the pastry over.
