Hatley Girls' Printed Raincoats

Adorable & great quality rain coat. Terry cloth lining adds extra comfort. My daughter wears a size 4 so I ordered the size 4 & 5 to compare. Size 4 fit perfect, but I kept 5 because I wanted some extra room for her to grow in to. It fit great after cuffing up the sleeves. The length is good too. The red "KomForme matte kids rain boots" (which you can also get on Amazon) matched this raincoat perfectly.

Exited at the beginning but got disappointed so quickly. Not waterproof as described. My child get all wet. Does not function as more than a lightweight rain absorber. Huge fail. Avoid if you wish to keep your child dry. Returning item

I absolutely love these jackets!! My 3 year old is petite and I got her the size 3....I love that it is pretty warm and fuzzy on the inside! It is definitely roomy, so she can put different layers under it for changing temperatures!!! The butterfly print is so adorable. Quality jacket worth the price!!!

I bought a size 7 Hatley raincoat for my daughter a few years back (butterfly design). It fit her a bit big, which i wanted so she could grow into it. She wore it from kinder up till now (she's in second grade). I decided to get her another one as her size 7 was now snug on her. I ordered a size 10 so that she could grow into it. The size 10 seems like the size 7 she has, same fit. How is that even possible? and the quality seems inferior compared to the old one. I am really disappointed with this.

It's a really great rain jacket. It has a lining that feels like a towel material, which is kinda nice, it is soft. It keeps her dry even in a constant rain. I looked for days on line for a rain jacket that was actually water proof, I don't know why that was a difficult thing to find but anyway this jacket is water proof. It's cute and it's not too warm for spring. The only thing I don't like it that there isn't a draw string on the hood so it does blow of if it's windy or if she is running around. That's the only reason I have it 4 starts instead of 5. It's a cute, waterproof jacket for a very reasonable price. We are happy with it.

I purchased this raincoat for my 4 year old granddaughter and she loves it. The colors are vibrant and its very soft to the touch, not a shiny vinyl and the lining is soft and adds a bit of warmth. I ordered a size larger than she normally wears in order to fit heavier winter clothes underneath and hoping to get an extra year out of it. Although she had plenty of extra room, it also wasn't falling off her so its not uncomfortably large. The jacket is a little shorter than I expected but probably similar to other brands. It was a bit pricey for a 4 year old's jacket but if she gets 2 years out of it and possibly hands it down to her younger sister it will be well worth it! Looks like good quality and I know the Hatley brand is a good one so I expect it will hold up well.

The prints on this brand are adorable. The lining is soft and adds some warmth which is perfect for our Alaska rainy days. My daughter is 3 and a half and I bought a size 4. It's big on her but I rolled the sleeves once which shows the color of the lining and works perfectly until she's older. The body has a generous cut as well so can easily be worn with thick sweaters as needed. I expect we can get another year at least before she grows out of it. The print photographs amazingly as well!!

This company has a customer for life! Amazing quality at a decent price. I wasn't thrilled about spending around $50 on a rain coat but understand what others have said about it being worth it and a great investment. My daughter is petite and this fit her with just the right amount of room to grow. I love that it is well made, medium light weight which is perfect, soft and not stiff like other brands I looked at, keeps her warm without having to put on too many layers(which is hard to do with a toddler) as both my children tend to run a little warm and very dry in a down pour. Have had this for at least a couple months now and it is a favorite along with the matching wellies for chilly mornings looking for bugs and worms.

If you done of my regulars you know every raincoat to date has been a Hatley. Watched this as usual till it dropped to a ‘happy’ price and then pounced like a tiger...raaaaaa!The usual quality and sometimes in world of unicorns it’s nice to be a silly kitty. Not the best photo I’m afraid as it’s the only one I have and was taken at distance and I’ve had to super crop it too. Also looks big because I’m stingy and buy them bigger to last longer 😜

I love love love this little jacket! The colors are so bright and fun, and the materials seem to be of good quality. How fun to have color changing hearts, and even better: the hearts change to different patterns and colors. The cutest! My only criticism is that my daughter, who is 15 months, is absolutely drowning in her 12-18 month jacket. It is really very huge on her. Good thing is it will fit all winter! I would absolutely buy it again.

This is my second Hatley coat. my little one is 2.5 year old and 95cm tall and i went for size 5. Apart from the sleeves that are too long it does not look too big on her and it's longer than if i ordered something her age, which i like as it covers more. I haven't tried it yet in rain, but it looks like my old one which worked well- waterproof and kept her warm as it has cosy layer inside. The outer layer is easy to clean with damp cloth. I washed the coat in hands and its fine. Very good quality, the outer layer still looks like brand new. Very pleased with Hatley products, also have 2 fleece jumpers which after numerous washes still look like new.

We purchased two, different sizes for 2 daughters. Warm. Waterproof. Pretty. Inexpensive.They take them to school. They like the design. We like that they are waterproof and warm. They have clip buttons instead of a zipper so it's easy for the girls to do them themselves

Bought this for my granddaughter who is 6. Bought age 7. Her previous Hatley coat was very roomy when purchased and extremely good quality and she wore it for a couple of years. I would say this version is of cheaper quality and smaller. I feel I could have bought an 8 and it would have been ok. My granddaughter is tall, but slim. This design is simpler with not as much detail. After three months the sleeve seam came apart and Amazon sent me a replacement. However, she loves it, especially the colour change hearts. I’m not clear if all Hatley coats have changed quality because there is a massive variation in price, and this particular one was fairly cheap.
