Works ok, but has quality issues
Bought this for a Raspberry Pi project. Worked straight out of the box with no problem. Connections of the I2C backpack are clearly marked, and the Pi recognised the LCD screen immediately once configured and powered up.However, there are some quality issues with the display. After less than a month, the LCD is starting to separate from the plastic screen (see photo). When viewed straight on, the display is fine, however the separation can be clearly seen when viewed from an angle.

Simple display for Arudio or Pi devices
My partner is an inverterate tinkerer - always working with Arduino and Pi based devices. This is a cool LCD display that he added to a thingy that will display if the plants need watering. Very important given the warm weather we're having this spring.
