Comfortable, sturdy.
I've worn these boots now for a week pretty regularly. I'll spent all day in them and was very comfortable. They are great lookin' kicks, seem to be breathable. I tested the waterproof ability, and they hold very well, but as a caution, the liner only goes to one of the lower lace eyelets. So you can have water pouring in from ankle height, or some will seep in. Not a deal breaker though. The leather on top is fairly soft, which is great for comfort and ventilation, but I almost wish right above the toes was a little tougher. The heel and lower ankle are VERY sturdy, which makes them a bit stiff the first couple times you wear them. But, that means they are very supportive and will hold up well.I think I'll be putting a lot of miles on these guys, no problem.

Durable and Comfortable Shoes, Not Waterproof Though
These shoes are a slight bit too large, but they are very durable and comfortable. I have worn these for 10 hours or more at a time, at a job that required me to stay on my feet for many hours on end. They have also stood up to being crushed and treated very rough at said job. They are somewhat water resistant, but I would not say they are waterproof as moisture gets in when walking around in the snow.Another great feature is that they are pretty slim. I drive a manual car and it's very easy to use a clutch pedal while wearing these.Overall I'm pretty happy with the way these shoes look, and their durability.

Way back, long time ago, when feet were squared...
When one purchases a shoe defined as sized Wide, one expects the shoe to actually be wide relative to a normal sized shoe of the same variety. This is not the case with the wide coming from timberland, and especially not these boots. These are built and designed for long skinny-footed folk and absolutely not those of us gentlemen with feet comparable to one, Fred Flintstone, or his blonde counterpart, Barney Rubble. It is rather unfortunate as these boots are solidly built, and have some quality in the looks department too. There have been one too many experience with boots sharing a similar characteristic of a dainty footbed that the interior head of the first metatarsal area gets blown out resulting is wet-foot from an otherwise well described waterproof boot. If wide were actually wide, this would be a 5-star review, but alas (or a laddie), 3-stars reflect the truth in sizing.

Nice boots for outdoors or indoors
They took a couple days to break in, but are now my favorite boots .The waterproofing has held up well through a lot of rain, mud, and snow. I've worn them for everything from hiking to casual outfits at the office. More than one attractive and stylish woman in my office has said that she likes them, as has one gay guy. I'm not saying these boots will get you laid, I'm just saying they can certainly help.

Probably the best wearing boot ever
Probably the best wearing boot ever! However, I have bought 2 pairs from you in the past 2 years and on both pairs the stitching of the seams on the side of the boot and on the top have blown apart. The seams are not quality stitching. The quality of your boots are declining. Im very dissapointed to see this in your product. I have been a long time customer of Timberland products. This is a shame, because the boots as far as comfort are the best I've ever worn. They just are stitched very poorly.I will be looking for another brand soon.

They hold up and are comfortable. Not quite as good as some other brands
Big fan of Timberland boots. They hold up and are comfortable. Not quite as good as some other brands, but you'd pay four times as much for them.I keep these around for when I'm doing jobs that could terribly damage my nicer boots. While that sounds like I'm putting them down, I'm not. My last pair of Timberland boots lasted nearly a decade and countless ShoeGoo sole reattachments before finally wearing a hole in the side of the leather. I still keep them just in case.

All around not bad
Extremely comfortable. Even if you don't usually get boots in a "wide" fit, I'd recommend going wide if its available in your size. Otherwise, will need to take time to break in. The first pair I received was damaged; definitely check where the upper connects to the sole for any problems. Has a durable feel, and has performed well in wet weather so far.

Boot causes PAIN!
The left boot fit and felt perfect, the right boot not so much. I suspect a fault in the workmanship/quality of the boots. The poor fit of the right boot made my foot painful and it felt like it was being slightly twisted when worn. I gave them a shot a breaking in, used a boot stretcher, nothing worked and by then I missed my return window. There are characteristics in this boot that make me believe they are iregular the way some of the seems line up as well. So I'm stuck with these boots that hurt my foot. That I'll never wear again... Buyer beware....
