Super Slick 2000 Epoxy Bottom Coating for Airboats, Jet Ski's, etc.: Gallon Kit

This stuff is amazing. I bought the 1 gallon kit and was able to do two boats. One was a 18’ duck boat and the other was a 16’ bass boat. This stuff makes launching super easy. The boat will slide off the trailer if you’re not careful. We run our duck boat in the mud and beach it all the time and this stuff holds up.My bass 16’ aluminum bass boat has some electrolysis on the hull and leaks a little, after two coats it doesnt leak any more and is super easy to clean scum off the hull. Both boats took two coats. One was a painted hull and the other was bare aluminum. We sanded both hulls and cleaned with acetone and had no issues. I recommend mixing a quart per coat. Use a good solid foam roller that won’t come apart this stuff I thick and sticky and will pull apart cheap rollers and you won’t get a smooth finish.

Part two was like a lumpy milkshake. I mixed the two parts together and work time was real short.

Super slick! I bought the gallon. Could've just got the quart for my single project but wanted extra. I applied this to the bottom of a waverunner. 1 full quart for me did my bottom hull 4 times. I spent alot of time doing the prep as I had a fairly good hole I had to repair. Took me basically a full day to apply this per the directions doing 2-3 hour intervals between coats. The project went off without any problems and the ski glides across the water like never before. Im very impressed with this product.

Easy to use, surface prep is key. Only mix what you can use in a 15-20 min period, I wasted a good bit but still overly happy with my finished product. Don't forget your pigment! It comes in a creamish color

Okay big mistake on my part, I have a 16ft flat bottom V and planned on doing the Bottom, outer hull, and up the front so ordered a Gallon. I wasted half of this due to it being so dang hot,, 85-90 degrees when applied. I know better but was excited to get this done! I was only able to get two thin and sloppy coats on. 70-80 degrees top temps for next DIY'er. Also read on Fasco web site that the super slick would-be brownish tan unless you add color pigment. Not so much color is clear and white??? What a wreck... but it still turned out good, work fast with two people and know what your task is. Work together back and forth, from middle to outer edge alternating sides, in the same direction.

Product is verry slick and durable . Use on a outboard jet jumping logs .
