After buying some really poor LED GU10s, these ticked all the boxes
Hope this helps someone because LEDs are confusing.Assuming all bulbs were more or less the same, I bought the cheapest Chinese GU10s available. Even with LED dimmers (Essential! you must have them since the old style dimmers flicker with any LEDs) the cheaper bulbs had a horrible strobing effect, as if the refresh rate weren't high enough. This was headache inducing.I've learned all LEDs are NOT the same tech. These Amazon Basics are more expensive, but have none of the horrible side effects. And it's a nice warm light, albeit not the 2200k I'd prefer but that doesn't seem to exist in GU10 packs yet.

Dimmable, but not by enough.
I thought it about time that I replaced the original 35W bulbs in my bathroom with LEDs, as they were coming to the end of their life. These generally work really well, but unfortunately don't dim to anywhere near the low levels that the traditional bulbs do. It may be a wider issue with LEDs generally, but the search continues...

Lovely warm light and great value for money compared to "big name brands"
As if Amazon isn't already a big name brand! These 2700k colour temperature lights are perfect for me - I find 4000k+ to harsh. I don't really want "bright day light" in the nighttime. The bluer the light the more it affects your ability to sleep, so I've heard. The more 'k' the more blue in the light. And the low-ish power also perfect as they are for my kitchen which has a "strip of 4" lights, so 4*35w = 140w total which is more than enough for my small kitchen. And they're dimmable too - my light switch is a dimmer. Non-dimmables do not work, as I found out when I bought the wrong ones - they flicker randomly or dont come on at all.So £17 for 6 dimmable LED lights is flipping good value for money. I've now got 2 spares and seeing as these last 25000 hours, or 1041 days, or nearly 3 years - and that's if I leave them on 24 hours a day - I wont need the spares for a long time! If they're on for 3 hours a night...8000 nights, 22 years. Surely not?! Wow :-)

Dimming
These bulbs are an efficient replacement but they do NOT FULLY DIM in the same way as their predecessors. Still good value but changes the ambience of the room.
