IYS (In Your Sights) TARGETING GREAT GEAR Snake .17 .17hmr Calibre Barrel Cleaner Cord

This item arrived well packaged and looks good quality. On first use however I was convinced it was too large for my barrel as it took a huge amount of effort to pull the thicker cord through. I persevered and the amount of crud and black dust it pulled out was impressive, particularly for a relatively new gun. On second use in a different gun it was much easier to pull.As well as the cord, there are two small bronze brushes hidden in the thicker section which really do work well. There is a bronze weight/guide on the end of the thinner cord section which makes threading it into a barrel very easy, although you will probably need to cock most break barrel air guns to clean them. This weight is also the only problem I've found with the cleaner. It is just over an inch long and too long to fit into the breach of my pistols and may be too large for some pcp or under lever rifles. It should be possible to cut it down, but not something I've tried yet.

Unsure if i was sent the wrong size but packet stated the correct size but 100% wouldn’t fit down the bore!
