Perfect for the mid-century modern snob on a budget
Thrilled with this purchase. If you’re on the fence, check out the Barlow chair reviews on Wayfair (same exact product). This is an incredible value and a very attractive, perfectly sized piece for any mid-century modern aficionado. The faux leather looks much nicer in person than pictures, and the tone is a lot warmer than I expected, in a good way. The seat is firm but well proportioned for extended sitting. I doubt anyone ordering a chair like this is looking for something to fall asleep in, but take it from a furniture snob: this thing really does rival the West Elm stuff that’ll cost you 7x as much.I’m noticing a lot of these reviews seem to call out poor craftsmanship, but the key is that you must install all screws loosely first, and then once everything is in place, tighten everything else. Furniture like this is designed so that pressure is distributed equally - so if you try tightening the first three screws all the way before adding anything else, you’re doomed to have a heck of a time getting the holes to line up. If you ordered two, the first one will take you 30 minutes to assemble, and the second will take you 10.PROS: cheap, beautiful color, convincing fabric, excellent craftsmanship for the priceCONS: none you dummy! just get it. you deserve nice things once in a while

The perfect midcentury accent chair
I sit in my chair nearly every morning to journal or read. It compliments my midcentury style perfectly and is comfortable to sit on. It fits my space nicely but I do wish it was a bit bigger because I think that would make it more cozy. It was surprisingly easy to put together and it's lightweight so I can move it around with no problem.

Amazing chair...annoying to assemble
This is definitely an amazing chair, especially for the cost! I would have given this 5 stars for the product itself, but due to the assembly I felt it was appropriate to deduct one star.Theoretically assembly is easy, as you just have to attach the back, the arms and the connector beam, aka stretcher; however the actual feat is not so easy, as it requires a technique that is not described in the instructions. So I thought I might provide some helpful tips to minimize your frustration of assembling this product.1.Keep all bolts loose (especially the back cushion) until the entire product is assembled, then tighten each bolt.NOTE:The back cushion is essential to keep loose in order to align the holes.2. In order to get the connector beam( the “stretcher”)to align in the appropriate holes, it is important to make this the initial step and focus when attaching the arms.NOTE: Do not attach the arms to the back cushion until the stretcher has been attached on both arms, and the other arm/seat bolts have been aligned with bolts loosely in place.•First loosely attach the front arm/seat bolt (closest to the stretcher) to provide support. You can now maneuver the arm to align the stretcher.•Loosely tighten the bolt for the stretcher enough to give it a good support, but not too tight so you can still adjust it.• Loosely attach the rear arm/seat bolt to provide support in order to flip the chair to attach the second arm. Repeat the same instructions to attach the second arm.•Once the stretcher is attached, and arm/seat bolts are in place you can align the back cushion and insert the bolts once aligned. You can now tighten all of the arm bolts simultaneously.3. Tighten the back cushion bolts (under the seat) last, after the chair is completely assembled. You will want to tighten the middle bolt first and then tighten the left and right bolts simultaneously to give equal tension on each side. If you have a wobbly chair it is because the tension is unequally distributed. You will want to adjust the tension and test it by placing the chair upright between each adjustment, until it is corrected.4. Do not insert the wood caps until after the chair is completely assembled to your liking; in case you need to make adjustments to the bolt tightness.I hope this helps! This is again is such a great chair for the cost. I would hate for anyone to miss out on it due to poor assembly issues.

Easy to Assemble Modern Accent Chair
What you're paying for with this chair are two things:- it's easy to assemble (one person can do it)- its aesthetic as an accent chairI would certainly recommend this chair to anyone looking for a secondary seat for their living room. It's not suited for a dinner table (sits too low and deep) and isn't supportive enough on the back to be a desk chair for regular sitting. This chair is perfect aa a temporary lounge chair, or to accent a bedroom for dressing. At just over $140, this pushes my price point, but I'm under $160 all-in and it's delivered to my door.Tough to beat if you don't mind putting in the half hour to assemble it. (Tedious, but not difficult.)If you catch this item under $115, it's worth it. I wouldn't buy another at $144, but have no regrets about this item as an accent chair. Would recommend, but would try to catch a deal.

Petite, sturdy, cute
These are very cute, and on the small side. They’re a great knockoff of a “Popular Brand” and in beauty...five star. Comfort for a short period but unless you are petite, they will not be comfortable very long. They do sit lower to the ground as well. Nice....but not big enough for my needs. One crossbar came damaged. Amazon give me a small discount on it, which was appropriate.

Beautiful idea but NOTHING assembled correctly
Beautiful idea but a mess when assembling. There were scuffs everywhere on the wood and the screws were super misaligned with the holes (yes, even with leaving the screws loose until the end). The wooden caps weren’t the right size either. Really wanted to like it but at the end of the day it was just was poorly made.

Easy to put together…
When I saw the large box I came in, I was intimidated. BUT! I followed the directions and got it together in under an hour. You will need a helper to hold up a side while you screw on pieces or you can lean things against the wall for support. I suggest getting a helper. The chair is small in height and width but it’s super cute!I wish they’d stop selling us short furniture on this site. :(My only con!
