Style:Handheld Super-Cardioid | Color:G Pure sound: the super-cardioid capsule captures more of what you want while rejecting off-axis noise. This makes the mic very resistant to feedback as well as a great choice for those working with loud stage volume levels. The included soundcheck mode on the receiver makes it possible to check the RF signal strength and audio levels continuously. The new G3 sync function allows you to wirelessly link the transmitter with the receiver with a simple push of a button. Lastly, the true diversity receiver has a built-in 5 band equalizer which completes this professional sound package.

Great mic for speaking and singing!
The G3 system is a great mic for professional speakers or singers. I'd rank it as a mid level mic since folks like Nady and Galaxy have come on the scene. it has very good feedback rejection and good response for a dynamic element. The range is good at over 100' in my usage and very stable with the diversity rf system sennheiser has.Set up is very easy and works out of the box. My personal suggestion is to reduce the sensitivity one step if you have very strong singers or speakers to avoid clipping at the mic.Lastly, the G3 use 2aa batteries in the mic. This is actually very benefitial. Sounds silly perhaps, but 9v batteries don't last as long and cost 2x to operate over aa batteries.Overall this is a great mic and won't make you regret the money invested.

Best wireless I've used
The Sennheiser EW135 is perfect for my bands. I sing vocals in a wedding band and in a heavy metal group. This has clarity like no other system. I feel when I use other companies it sounds like I'm singing through a microphone. With Sennheiser it sounds like I'm singing. Great natural sound. Never any drop outs of signal as long as I frequency scan before my gigs and long battery life. The range is more than enough for me to have fun and work the crowd in a wedding setting, or run into the mosh pit when I'm in a club.

Deadly
Bought this mic cos of the many reviews. Returned it cos we saw another G3 we could buy immediately instead of waiting for Amazon to ship it. This mic is deadly. My goodness. Just buy it. The sound is amazing and everyone at our church loves it. Beautiful to hold too. Was a replacement for the SM 58, which is a decent mic.

Great For Vocals
Every weekend I sing with a local group and needed a new hand-held microphone. I was between a Shure model and this one; ended up going with this one and it was an awesome decision.Very crisp sound, easy to set up and is still going strong.

Absolutely Worth It
Bought this and a Sure BLX 24 SM58 at the same time. While the Sennheiser receiver is a higher quality, the mics are supposed to besomewhat equal. After a month or so with both, I am absolutely sold on the Sennheiser. Voices are clean with good body. There's a crispness and clarity to both words and singing that has allowed me to up the decibels on the sound system without members of the church complaining its too loud (the fuller sound is much more pleasant and thus, tolerable). Also, these Sennheisers have a nice wide bandwidth that should enable you to get a good signal without interference. Just make sure to get the proper unit for your area. (Shure has a nice guide in their wireless mic webpage to determine bandwidths that are open/reserved. Just match 'em up to the Sennheiser EW135 with the most overlap). We will be buying 4-6 more of these mics within the next year to two years.
