It is easy to use and a good value for the money. I used similar products earlier successfully. I read many negative comments on this kind of products on Amazon, and I would say this kind of products is not a glue but is like a solder. Glue is used to afix two sides closely, but this product is not for it. It is used to fill a gap like a solder. It has to have a space where the UV can penetrate the whole material to be cured. When I use it like a glue, the UV cannot reach the space and it does not work. If used correctly, it works wonders. I used this product to fill the chips on my hard-to-replace plastic battery holder for my slr camera that became brittle over time, and it worked splendidly and saved it. The product came with sealed tips which one has to cut to the size for the job. I cut to the finest size for my purpose with the meduim flow bottle. The only inconvenience is that once you cut to a size, it can only go to a larger size after it.

This is my first UV resin for tying fly fishing flies. It does the job, but like others have said, it is sticky. It "dries" fine with the light (which is not very strong) but the surface remains tacky

Works as it should. Ax I suspected it does alter the color when used on midges as different color thread all looks similar once uv is applied and torched with the uv light

The drawback is that this resin is still tacky to the touch after curing. However, you can wipe your flies with an alcohol swab to get rid of the tackiness. That's not so easy on flies smaller than #18, but for larger Perdigons it's not difficult. It is a second step, but for the price it's not that inconvenient. I find the Thick works best for Perdigons. It cures hard (good luck getting it out of eye holes), and on these style flies they're easy to clean up with alcohol. The UV light isn't powerful enough, so get a stronger light.

Great glues and easy to work with definitely needed this

I am new to fly tying. These have been a great blessing as I journey through this fun hobby. The product works just as it is supposed to. Personally, I prefer the Thin coating.

Strong, drys fast with little residue

All three different resins cure with a tacky finish regardless of the amount of time exposed to UV light of any kind including intense sunlight. I don’t recommend this product for fly tying. Will attempt to return.
