Like having a team of workers
It was always the worst part of lake life, taking the boat lifts out for the winter. We needed four people to raise one side of the lift to position floats under the frame and then lift the other side to do the same and then float it in to shore and lift it once again off the floats and up over the shore bank out of the water for the winter. With this tool it only took two people to do the job with much less effort. What a back saver!

Excellent jack, excellent quality, easy to use.
This boat lift jack is exactly what I need. One person job now to change the leg depth on my lifts in no time. Previously I used a ratchet jack and it was very difficult to keep it from sliding off to the side and ultimately required two or more people. I have no idea why I waited so long to buy this.

Made Well and Works Fine But Seems Overpriced
This is a well made product, although I not so sure that wire cable wouldn't be better in fresh water use than the supplied nylon rope, which can exhibit a far amount of stretch. Using to set a 4000lb capacity and smaller boat lifts & docks - makes it easy to adjust lift feet and install/remove wheels and level-up docks working alone. Design of this jack is fairly simple and manufacturing should be quick and easy so the price seems high to me, but that may be because its probably not a high-volume mass-produced item. I would advise getting the mud-foot for heavy loads (e.g. large boat lifts) unless you have a very firm lake bottom to work from.

Dock lifter
I use this piece of equipment to raise the end of my dock so I then can drive my dock poles into the lake bottom. It lets me install my seasonal docks completely by myself.

Great asset
Works great- makes it possible to adjust/move a boat lift without the help a second person.

Edited - didn't even last a full year!
Update - didn't even last a full year, and it's trash.A little pricey but not many options out there. We were missing some very important pieces so had to wait for them to be shipped separately but the company was on top of it and very helpful. Hook design is "ok" but does not fit 4 inch hoist rail.
