Q: Halo works, Aura sync does not recognize the terminal. Anybody have any ideas before i return this stuff?

when you say aura software, do you mean AURA creator? that app doesnt support ROG terminal it seems, at least not yet... I think the whole aura creator app is still in beta?

Q: Does it work with rog strix x470 boards?

Hi - I can see by looking at the motherboard photos that is will work on the Rog Strix x470 Gaming F board. You must have a 3 pin ARGB Header on the board. It is the same size as a 4 pin header, but looks like one pin is missing. This is a 5 volt header and allows the motherboard to address each LED individually. The four pin header is 12 volts and will fry any 5 volt LED items you attach to it. If you look at a picture of this motherboard, you can see the two types of headers along the bottom edge, near the right corner of the board. They have white nylon bases, everything else has black or gray bases. They are right next to each other, but one has 4 pins, and the other looks like it should have 4 pins, but it's missing one.

Q: How to connect 2 of these together?

It's very simple, this product comes with a wire which you plug one end into the 3 pin RGB header on your motherboard, and the other end plugs into one side of the RGB strip. The RGB strip has a female connector on one side, and a male connection on the other side. Simply buy more than one, and plug one of the female ends from one RGB strip into male connection from another RGB strip and it's that easy. However one thing to keep in mind is that there may be a limit on how many RGB strips you can daisy chain together, most RGB strips won't allow any more than 6 strips to be connected end to end. Q: Will these work with msi z390 godlike?

As long as the rgb connection on the motherboard is a argb connector then yes, connect would be a 4 pin style with one pin missing would look something like this - -- if that makes any sense
