Crown 7008 Brite Galvanize Coating 65% Zinc Rich, Metallic, 13oz

My intended use was for old motorcycle parts that were originally zinc plated. The appearance is quite similar to factory ( from mid 60s ). Typical parts include battery hold downs, brake stays, clamps … I can’t attest to durability, but very happy with application and appearance.

This stuff is fantastic. I used it to refinish a fuel tank for my camaro. I had taken to be boiled out and cleaned, but the shop I took it to only sprayed it with black epoxy paint. I had to strip the entire tank and that removed a lot of the factory zinc galvanized finish. This stuff restored it like new. I am super happy and can't say enough good things about it

Went on easy and almost matched galvanized color on rest of the gate. Stopping rust for now and would buy again to reapply or touch up if needed.

I welded a hinge plate together with all bare metal and after chipping and cleaning up the wells I gave everything one coat with this. It went on very nice and I second coated it the day after. It's been out in the weather now for a few weeks and in some rainstorms but I checked it a few days ago and no signs of any rusting anywhere. So far it's a great product.

This was recommended to me by a fence company as it is what they use for finishing when they fabricate gates and repair frames for chain link fencing. It does an excellent job and is very durable.
