Disappointed in that this was way too technical for my level of non-expertise. IF you have a contracting/building/architecture background of many years' standing, then this book will be helpful. But for someone looking for inexperienced DIY advice, it was way over my head. Not the fault of the author.

not for architects or designers
I am an interior designer and work for an architectural firm. Because of the information I have learned thru my education and professional experience, I found very little new information in this book. If you have no knowledge of green building practices, this book would be beneficial.

Kindle version- low quality
The two stars is not for the content of the book but for the POOR quality of the Kindke book. The diagrams in the book are eligible which are vital component. Please UPDATE.

Very wordy
An American book that contains lots of words but not a great deal of information. The Green Building Bible Volumes 1 and 2 is a much better buy if you really want to know how to build a green eco home and it's published in the UK so much more relevant.
