Great Socks, Great Price, Great Gift, Great Scott!!!
I bought these as add-on Christmas gifts, but my boyfriend fell in love with the one pair I gave him and so I surrendered the other 3 pairs. The socks are well made and feel like sweaters for your feet. They have a nice cable knit pattern that is comfortable and attractive while keeping your feet toasty in boots or uggs (I absolutely hate uggs, not only because they're ugly, but because most people tend to wear them barefoot. I can only imagine how those things must smell.).I like the fact that these are 40% Cashmere, 48% Wool, and 12% Polyester because they hold their shape better and don't tend to shrink when you wash them. Socks that are 100% Cashmere always shrink and tend to wear through much more easily because they are rather thin. If you purchase 3 or 4 ply Cashmere, they will have more bulk but can also make your feet too hot. Wool is a great fiber to blend with Cashmere to add bulk, durability and strength without overheating you.As far as washing goes, I use the "Handwash' cycle on my washing machine and then put them in the dryer on "Air Fluff" with wool dryer balls. If you don't have these settings then I suggest using cold water on the gentle cycle and then either air drying them or tumble dry low for 10 minutes. Remove them when they're still a bit damp and place on a towel to dry completely. These are perfect to give as stocking stuffers, to co-workers and as additions to another gift because they are separately packaged. The 4 pairs are each topped with a header card and are bundled together as 2 pairs. So, you received 2 bundles which are wrapped with a paper band, and both pairs are individually packaged with header cards like the socks you buy hanging on pegs. This packaging allows you to give someone 2 pairs bundled together, or by removing the band you can then give each pair separately to different people.I'm ordering another set to give as gifts and a set for myself.

Doesn’t seem like real cashmere -
Not what I had hoped - not soft like true cashmere - more like sleeping socks - a “slouch” look at the ankleThe knitting is poor with a funny seam . Maybe the wool is a harsh type too - having a cable stitch for the whole sock gives too much stretch and is thick and bulky - like a wool cabled tube sock with no shape- I have washed two pairs which seem to slightly soften the socks - they really do not feel like cashmere . nor does the wool feel like wool - maybe a cotton or even a synthetic / just a harsher feeling -

Not quite what I expected
I was looking for a sock that would keep my feet warm in the cold winter. These socks were not quite what I expected. They were a thicker, but looser knit than most socks I've worn. Because of that, the socks felt 'rough' on my feet. I now wear a very thin sock inside of these socks which solved the rough feeling I was experiencing. Because of the looser knit, the socks are not tight around my calf. They don't fall down, but they don't feel secure either. I will say that my feet are warm while wearing the socks, but I don't know if that's because I've actually got two socks on each foot or not. Be aware that if you have shoes that are snug on your feet, you probably won't be able to wear those shoes with these socks. I was looking for soft cashmere socks...these aren't them.

Meh, not impressed
These socks have a very loose fit, and the fabric is a bit thin.I highly recommend purchasing the following socks instead (the other ones I bought that day). Similar price, and the quality is AMAAAAAZING: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0742J56B1/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_0

Great winter socks for making snug feet.
These are just the right amount of thick and chunky for Chesapeake area winters that are damp in addition to cold. My shoe size is 7.5womens and I typically wear a type of walking/dress boot to work and running errands during the winter. I typically wear timberlands or rain boots when weather calls for it. These were thick and comfortable enough to wear single layer in all my winter shoes. Faux leather ankle boot wedges were the pair that were most on the snug side-however they are normally a relaxed fit so I was not concerned with the material becoming stretched out. They’ve gone through the wash several times with the rest of my normal socks and have been fine. These hit the right balance of value and quality.

Great Warm Socks
I am very pleased with these socks. My foot size is 11. I got the 12 to 14 size and, after a dozen washings, they still fit nicely. I bought some more expensive Scottish socks (different seller) that shrank to half their original size. So, these are great after many washes and I'd buy again.

At First Not so, Comfy.....THEN, after a few rounds through the Washing Machine! Walla!
I purchased a size down based on the reviews! I had to wash them several times before they were extremely comfortable. I live on a ranch and they kept my feed very warm and dry when I wore them under outdoor boots. They are thick which, is what I wanted to purchase. I just now purchased the socks by the same company (Natur) which, indicate 100% Alpaca because these sock did "not" have my size listed on Amazon. Obviously, they have to have some elastic to keep them pulled up on the leg! Overall, pleased with the purchase after, you wash them several times.

Easy on, wears like iron, never smell
My brother, who is paralyzed on one side, can put these on easily with one hand, and they do not shrink. He gets less callouses since they are soft, cushiony - never smell. He walks a lot and they rarely wear out in the heel, outlast all other specialty socks - worth the price. Would be excellent for diabetics.

TOO LOOSELY KNIT AND NOT DURABLE
These socks are big disappointment. They are a loose knit so not very warm and they get holes in the heel and toe quite quickly. They are soft and perhaps useful inside slippers or for bed.

Very warm!
I bought these a few years ago and I am now placing another order. I like the fact they are a loose knit and fit - comfy and very warm!

Doux et confortables
Doux et confortables. Plus courts sur le mollet que je pensais. J'aurais aimé qu'ils montent plus haut.
