I bought this was £35.85 , on Amazon . I used it in the greenhouse on top of a cheap thin silver car shading thing for car windows as it was slight padded and it did the job well. You only feel the heat when the tray is sitting on the mat so the areas in between may feel cool. Even though there was no thermostat it was perfect to germinate seedlings on and later to grow on the more tender plants. Now I can wrap it up and put it away until next year.I have a large propagating table with sand heated with cables and a thermostat and I believe this mat was just as good. I only wish I had bought two or even three at the time as a few days later the price shop up to £48 . I have both my table plug and the mat plug inside a waterproof box and use a remote switch to turn the one plug on and off from the house as the temperature dictates.

Worked really well for my seedlings earlier in the year in our unheated conservatory. I got good yeild on all the plants grown on it. There is no adjustable thermostat on this mat, so look elsewhere if you need that. Otherwise, this large mat is excellent for your basic heating needs.

Used it on my seedlings and worked great, best to use a container that has no holes for drainage and then ones with holes for seeds

I almost returned this mat. After setting it up in my greenhouse, I felt no heat at all. I read that it needed to be covered with trays/pots to get it to heat up and that is indeed the case. I have had no issues with it since and seeds have been germinating perfectly.

You can't leave any part of the mat uncovered otherwise it will not heat up. I think people complaining that it doesn't heat up must have left areas uncovered so get the correct size for the trays you will be using and make sure to always have the full mat covered, even if it means putting something on, like a brick or some sort of weighted item if you have any unused areas. Once you do this you will find it is an excellent aid to growing seedlings and cuttings.

Works very well - must be completely covered with plants to warm up efficiently - and you need to get a thermostat to regulate the heat - uses approx 70w of power

Tapis chauffant arrivé avec une prise américaine , j'ai été obligé d'acheter un adaptateur . Le tapis monte péniblement à 29°c après 20 minutes ce qui est peu pour 60 watts et il redescend à 27°c et se maintient entre ces deux températures J'en ai un autre qui monte à 35°c en 6 minutes pour 56 watts Je ne recommande pas cet article

Cette plaque chauffante, manque de détail , surtout le chauffage qui va au dessus de 15 degrés , il.lui faut un thermostat. Et livrés avec prises américaine.. alors la ça fait que dépenser pour acheter le thermostat et l adapteur en multiprise.. donc ça fait des sous en plus. En plus quand j'ai ouvert , ily a pleins de renseignements dessus sur le tapis donc il manque cruellement de trucs sur internet . Sinon bon état je met 3 étoiles donc pour manque de renseignement et prises américaine ..
