USB-C to HDMI Cable

Great cable! The BENFEI USB C to HDMI 2.1 does exactly what it’s supposed to. It’s a generous length, so it stretches quite far without any issue. Great piece of kit! Easy to use just plug and play! Bought for our cruise as we were aware the internet wasn’t going to be great. Used this to connect iPad to the tv for pre downloaded shows. Connection was great and therefore I can not complain regarding sound or picture. Works as should and great price!

Not often I take to writing a poor review, but just a heads up as I have nothing but issues with this cable. Bought way back in 2021 to be on the ball if I needed it onsite for a future job and had an issue then with either very poor quality imagery or refusing to connect. That was when I should have launched it back, but I just marked it up as me being thick and settings being incorrect (it should work perfectly out of the box). It languished in a drawer until I really needed it. Then I remembered all the issues. It does not connect sometimes, it's just hit and miss and when it does connect the quality is appalling, Tried serveral laptops (windows and macbooks) and several displays, the problem remains, but it's more on than off with a Macbook. I guess the learning curve is throw crap back when you can if it doesn't work. Total waste of money and the only satisfaction was the joy of cutting the piece of crap up with snips. Hoe it helps soebody else, if nothing else remember throw crap back right away when it doesn't work!

I purchased this specifically to use with my Fold7 and DeX, but the phone doesn't recognise it at all. I don't think that the cable was faulty, because it seemed to work fine on my laptop, and to be fair there's no mention of Fold7 ( or the current S series generation ) anywhere. Having now looked around the Internet, it appears that Samsung have changed something in the latest generation to do with power to the USB port, though it's unclear what exactly people do report that some HDMI cables/ adaptors work and some don't, so make sure you do your own research!

A very useful Cable in this modernworld as most things even your mobles use 'C' Connections

I'm glad I got the 6' cable to give me some extra slack, and it is something to think with if you have a standing desk that adjusts height. The nylon braid over the cable and the protective sleeve at the ends are nice as it keeps the cable from getting kinked up or bent on itself. I had immediate connection and the signal quality is excellent and works perfect for my set up. It is compatible with either my Mac AirBook or my iPhone 17, and it is nice to have a thin and compact connector/wire, rather than the thick and bulky HDMI cables that come standard with most equipment. I'm happy with my purchase and the price was really good too.

Good quality

Worked perfectly connecting my M2 Macbook Air to my ultrawide monitor with 3440x1440 resolution. Got full resolution and no issues at all. The HDMI part is quite big though.
